FEATURES
The PSAK-47 GF3 was designed from the ground up to be a new standard in AK-47 rifles, utilizing all new precision manufactured parts. Thoroughly tested in development, we tortured tested to 10,000 rounds to ensure a quality product. Not to be satisfied with just a good AK-47, we kept improving and now are proud to announce our PSAK-47 Gen3 Hammer Forged (GF3) rifle with a hammer forged bolt, carrier, and front trunnion.
The 4150 barrel is nitride treated for accuracy and durability and is pressed into a new hammer forged front trunnion to ensure the longevity AK-47's are known for. The hardened steel 1mm receiver features a mil-spec style single hook trigger, and side rail mount. The front trunnion and bolt carrier are engraved with GF3 to designate the GF3 hammer forged model. The rifle is finished with a Magpul polymer handguard, Magpul AR-15 stock, AK/AR Buffer tube adaptor, PSA 6-position buffer tube, and AK-47 polymer grip; Rifle ships with 30 round magazine (where allowed by law).

Is there like some sort of shortage of cleaning rods? lol... All the Ak variants made around the states always say "no cleaning rod"? what am I missing? lol
The no cleaning rod is a deal breaker for me
AK's don't need cleaning! Just shake the blood / guts out of it and move on.
I just wittle a stick i pickup and push leaves through the barrel of my Palmetto AK when it gets dirty in the field. That's what the Russians are taught in Basic Training. Cleaning rod just adds weight, those things weigh at least 2-4oz ! On a rifle you carry 24/7 in the field that weight compounds over time , increases fatigue, and cripples your mobility.
Why buy shit American Kalashnikov when you can get glorious Romanian WASR for few more dollar?

I own 2 WASR's, VSKA, Arsenal SLR107R & the GF3 - and I've owned/sold many other variants including VEPRs. The PSAK-GF3 is a solid platform; certainly much better than my WASR's & VSKA, and on-par with my Arsenal. VEPRs are in a class of their own, but that's not a knock on the GF3.
In fact, if I'm honest, I like the GF3's trigger better than the Arsenal's - but both are fantastic.
WASR was the "go to, affordable AK" for years if you couldn't afford an Arsenal, VEPR etc. but that day is long gone. Don't take my word for it though, check out the AKOU 5,000 rd review or see if you can find someone at the range to let you shoot theirs. I have put mine through the paces, and it performed so well I put JL Billet handguards & all the other doo-dads on it. It's incredibly accurate, which surprised me. I expected decent accuracy but not 1MOA accurate (maybe I just got an exceptionally QC'd one?)
These are definitely the best for the price point. Though, if you plan on doing your own furniture I'd go with their $699 option that doesn't have the Magpul stuff. It's been my experience that...well - Magpul AK furniture isn't that great. The hand guards keep the heat in WAY too much, and the stock pictured here has a very hard time staying snug. I wholeheartedly recommend JL Billet for the hand guards & FAB Defense Stamped stock (WHAT?? FAB..yes, FAB).
All of this is just my $0.02 but don't discount the GF3; you would be missing out on a solid AK platform that out shoots most combloc.
