Most of the people that are considering purchasing these over priced BCGs don't know that most of the problems they will encounter with BCGs can be fixed easily,, with less than $4.00 worth of parts. Most of you would be better served by putting together a "BCG FIRST AID KIT". made up of the component parts that are most likely to fail, or degrade. You can start for under $20, with a couple of extractor springs, extractor spring inserts, two sets of gas rings, a firing pin retention pin, and a extra buffer spring. All of these items are currently available, and should fix 90%+ of the BCG problems you may encounter in your next 5000 rds. If you feel the need to be more prepared for some unknown future event, like a zombie apocalypse. You can spend an additional $35 on these items: extractor/with pin, ejector/with roll pin, ejector spring, firing pin, and cam pin. We all need to shop smart, and not feed the greed, so if you can't find these items at close to the prices I mentioned, feel free to message me for assistance.

Back in 11/2016 I bought 5 "PSA 5.56 Premium HPT/MPI Full Auto No Logo" BCG at $69.99 each. I have the receipt. The BCG without HPT, which is the one in this listing, was $10 cheaper. Luckily I don't need to pay $144.99 as of 01/2021. They function flawlessly and have very nice finish though.

$69 for a Toolcraft C158 BCG? When was that?

Never. $89 was the lowest I've ever seen a no logo version.

Buy the AO from RTB. 129 + 5 shipping. True milspec and no tax. I like Toolcraft but I like saving money more.

Toolcraft BCGs demand a premium. Pre-pandemic times it was considered a good deal if you could get one for less than $100.

A year ago the PSA 9310 branded ones were $49.99 on sale. I have the receipt for it in my account. That's a $134.99 BCG now. The Toolcraft 158 Carpenter steel i have never bought for less than $79.99. A few months back I literally couldn't find ANYTHING in stock for less than $160+...

I don't ever recall Toolcraft C158 BCGs for $49.99.

Literally 1 year ago , 49 bucks. Theses and ammo would have been a better investment than 99.9999% of all stocks.
