I picked this same kit same price free shipping but it came with the nickle plated trigger. It seems that this is always rated a better deal. Can someone please explain why?? I must be missing.

It seem that PSA raised most of their kit $10 as of late.
This price is not a deal. It used to be $150 plus shipping or $160 with free shipping.
Tomstactical.com has them cheaper with free shipping, plus you can upgrade the trigger group for $10
They don't have STR kit. Their CTR kit costs as much as this. PSA still cheaper even with the $8.85 shipping.
Are these kits ever offered in colors other than black?
Probably a mistake on their end.. The "fixed" stock one is 139.. maybe they corrected.

That seems to happen often when PSA offers free shipping.
I'm in the same boat. I had them in my cart and when I hit proceed to checkout the price changed. I sent them an email about it and I'll give them a call tomorrow but I think they lost my business on this one. Bad business practice IMO.

7 calendar days to ship my ammo, and 11 days to ship a shotgun. But they said late shipping on shotgun because they moved their compliance office and was starting from scratch on FFL's.

Actually, Buy a battler trigger for 50 and aint roll pin for 25... 215 you got the ASC stock and stock Kit for 45$ more.. I love spikes, but other then the trigger/roll pin, there really is no difference...
Pretty nice deal considering the stock itself rarely goes for less than $95.

Definitely, don't see why anyone is down voting this. Picked up a couple for just completed build, and the next project.
Its a 6061 tube thats merely 'mil-spec diameter'. First, its kind of disingenuous for PSA to try and sell it that way. People new to the hobby might not even know there is a difference between 'mil-spec' and 'mil-spec diameter'. Second, one of the known weak points on the AR15 is join between buffer tube and receiver. Unless you are purely a hobbyist, using a weaker material there isnt a great idea.
Best PSA lower build kit $139. This is the best one out there and one of the best Magpul STR stocks. I like the ACS-L too. Just the STR by itself goes for $80
