Kindly tell what exact paints and color names (brand/ acrylic or enamel/flat or gloss) did you use especially the green and yellow.

Technique for where the yellow and green get close?

When I can get these for $50 shipped then I'll buy. I've bought Anderson and other stripped lowers of the same or better quality for $50 shipped or less. Just can't justify paying more than that with other options out there.

I just got one and I love it, the anodizing doesn't look the greatest, but it paired up well with my PSA upper (as expected)

Wow, back in stock after a couple of days. Notified by email, bought same day, arrived 1-2 days later. Good so far, but read on:

I hope this is not a normal example, some sort of outlier...the finish is awful. Full of tiny scratches and rub marks — and I haven’t even built it yet. I think spray paint would be more durable! I don’t have an LPK to build it just yet, but I’m going to wrap it in 4” of bubblewrap and hope it survives the wait until some parts arrive. Honestly, I believe this ‘anodizing’ job must have been done by Tapco, yes, it is that bad! I can rub the surface off with a fingernail.

I guess there are different qualities of anodized finish. I honestly expected that they were all pretty good, or at least as good as the ones I’ve seen, if not quite equal to AeroPrecision or Larue.. I’ve heard there are also different qualities of aluminum and machining. I liked the message and the humble art of No Step On Snek, but at ~$50 for the lower + ~$15 for shipping + $25 to receive it from an FFL, I’ve started out @ $90 for this finish disaster from PSA. Given their burgeoning business, I expected better.

Picked up one of these. Came together pretty well with all the parts I had on hand and some I ordered to complete a 16 inch build. I didn't have to do any modifications of any kind to make anything fit. I really like how it turned out. I had zero issues with shipping.

I wonder if these will turn out to be like the Christmas limited edition lowers that also stated, when they are gone, they are gone!!!! Seems as though they just make another batch, and sell those until they are gone. And then another.......

PSA has said that they only made 2500 of each of the "meme" lowers, but that they're only releasing them in batches of a few hundred at time so that everyone has a chance to get one instead of just selling out in a couple days with the whole batch

I need another AR like I need another hole in my head but this lower kicks ass! 6.5 Grendel or 450 Bushmaster build?

6.5 Grendel is about the most interesting AR cartridge "thing" ever. The straight wall cartridges are alright if you live in the weird states that only allow "old-tyme" cartridges with straight walls for hunting. Otherwise, the Grendel is very tempting.

Love it.

I bet most people don't even know where "snek" comes from.

Bought it on impulse.
Thinking of making a "meme" themed retro.
Even if I grow weary of it, it will still work to put holes in things.

(edit) FYI, got shipped 4 days after ordering.

I ordered mine on December 7th and it has yet to ship. I contacted PSA about what was causing they delay and they sited "additional quality control" as the reason for having not shipped yet. Hmmm....

If you have a binary trigger these are great because you don't have to put that silly red sticker on your lower.
