I grabbed one, hoping they are actually in stock and will ship out. they are backordered everywhere else I've looked at just the brace
Wasn't the whole point of these special pistol brace designs to avoid putting an M4 extension on the lower? You can literally change this out with a regular stock in 10 seconds with no tools. I see a reversal on this opinion letter from the ATF in the near future.
1. It's a different size buffer tube than a milspec/commercial tube and a stock won't fit on it.
2. The thordsen mounts to a standard milspec/come buffer tubes and has been on the market for a while
Read the description:
5 positioning mil-spec buffer tube
Incorrect; the sba3 works with a standard milspec buffer tube.
What Garn said. This work on any mil-spec extension. I tried mine on several (PoF, Aero, PSA) and it works w/o issue.
It actually ships with a 6-position receiver extension, however, only 5 positions are usable due to the design of the brace itself.

Apparently it's no longer the tube that matters, but how many positions and lop/oal of the brace. Because, reasons... https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2018/01/31/shot-2018-sb-tactical-adjustable-carbine-brace-p320-fire-control-unit/...
I'd been waiting for this to come back on sale, grabbed one to go with their 300 blk 8.5 upper currently on sale
I don't see the bargain here.
50 for a LPK, 30 for a buffer tube kit, and 40 for that stock/brace most anywhere on the interwebz.
That's 120, not 150
