This PA-9 Upper is designed to work with all Palmetto State Armory 9mm Lower Receivers which accept Glock-Style Magazines.
Barrel: 4" chrome moly steel barrel chambered in 9mm (9x19) with a 1:10 twist rate. The heavy profile Barrel is melonite treated for durability and finished off with a Palmetto State Armory 6" M-lok free-float rail and a PSA Fluted Flash Can.
Flash Can: Palmetto State Armory Fluted "FLASH CAN". This is a solid 6061 aluminum device that is designed to direct muzzle gases and the muzzle flash forward. Threaded 1/2-36 for 9mm. Black military-style hard anodizing. THIS DEVICE IS NOT DESIGNED TO REDUCE RECOIL, MUZZLE RISE, OR FLASH SIGNATURE. This device is designed to direct gasses and noise forward away from the shooter and enhance the weapon's appearance.
Upper: Newly designed billet 7075-T6 slick side upper is hard coat anodized black for durability. Featuring T-marks, these upper upper receivers are made for us right here in the USA.
Bolt Carrier Group: G-9 9mm BCG. Phosphate coated, 8620 steel, G-9 Bolt allows use with Glock®-style magazine Palmetto State Armory lowers. Includes charging handle.
To be used with Palmetto State Armory 9mm lowers that use Glock®-style magazines.
Each upper is assembled to order, and test fired to check function.

These will work with both dedicated AR9 lowers and AR15 lowers with the appropriate mag-well inserts (Sylvan Arms, Torx, Stern Defense, etc.)
How well do these run? Any recommendations for a true drop in?
I picked up a Sylvan Arms drop in about a month back on sale from Primary Arms ($99 when on sale). I was ready for some tweaking going in, but it ran flawlessly for half a case of bulk ammo and a few hundred rounds of mixed 124gr and 40rnds of 147gr subs.
I've also tried the Torx solution. It takes a bit of tweaking to get it 'just right'. Once set it runs great, just not as quick and easy to take in and out.
Is this compatible with ar15 lowers or only ar9?
