FEATURES
Barrel: Phosphate coated Chrome Moly steel barrel. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, with a 1/7 twist, M4 barrel extension, and a carbine-length gas system. Barrel is is finished off with a standard flat dark earth handguard, F-Marked gas sight base, and A2 flash hider.
Upper: Forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper is machined to MIL-SPECS and hard coat anodized. Uppers include forward assist and dust cover. These uppers are made for us right here in the USA by a mil-spec manufacturer.
Bolt: Full-auto profile bolt carrier group. Shot-peened, mil-spec Carpenter No. 158® steel bolt. Gas Key Hardened to USGI Specifications, Fastened with Grade 8 screws, and Staked Per Mil-Spec.
Lower: These forged lowers are quality made using 7075-T6 aluminum and are marked "MULTI" for caliber. Finish is hardcoat anodize.. Mil-spec diameter 7075-T6 buffer tube is hardcoat anodized, has 6 adjustment positions, is fitted with a PSA M4 Carbine Stock. The the fire control group is a PSA mil-spec finished, single-stage assembly.

Just for some perspective, they had these on the walls of my local gun store for $399 a year ago. Doesn’t make this a “bad deal” per se, but certainly not a good value.
Last year this kit was on sale for 199 plus the cost of the receiver. Unfortunately if those prices held out I’m fairly certain many companies would have went under or did. That’s the real reason Walmart stopped selling ars they weren’t selling and making no money.
Question: Does "Classic Rifle" mean over-priced, outdated, low tier "Beater"???
If you look at the images, you can see right away why it is a no frills model. 1.No rear sight 2. Carbine length gas system 3. Plastic hand guard 4. Fixed A2 front post sight 5. Not a free float handguard 6. Barebones stock 7.Basic BCG 8. Standard charging handle 9. Basic grip 10. Non ambi safety
I can’t speak to this one specifically because I don’t own it. However I’ve built a few with PSA components and have been very pleased with the quality. The accuracy of the last one I built is better than my M&P. My suspicion is that this rifle is fine, just no frills.
$700 and no rear sight.
