You asked, we listened! Palmetto State Armory is proud to release our Gen3 PA10 Barreled Upper Receiver!  The Gen3 model has been enhanced to improve the reliability and longevity of our PA10 platform. This new platform includes several features that have never before been included on our PA-10 platform. We hope you enjoy these new features and look forward to your feedback!
With enhanced durability and improved function, the new and improved PSA PA10 Gen3 is here.  The Gen3 model offers a black nitride stainless gas tube to better resist high heat and corrosion while maintaining a glossy black finish.  All Gen3 PA10 models come with a dimpled barrel for ease of gas block replacement if you choose to do so. We have also included a newly designed click switch 5 position adjustable gas block so you can specifically tune to your load.
Gen 3 Benefits at a glance:
- Dimpled 416R Stainless Steel Barrel
- 5 Position Adjustable Click Switch Gas Block
- Extra Power Extractor Springs
- 7075 T6 Charging Handle Included in all uppers
- Black Nitride Gas Tube
- Barrel Nuts properly torqued to military specifications
- Anti-slip and anti-rotation handguards

Barrel: The dimpled, 416R Stainless Steel, 308 WIN 1/10 twist, rifle-length gas system upper is paired with a Palmetto State Armory 15" M-Lok free-float rail, low profile adjustable click detent 5 position gas block, and an A2-style muzzle device. The gas system is enhanced with a nitrided gas tube in order to better resist high heat and corrosion.
Upper:  Precision machined from forged 7075-T6 aluminum, then Black anodize hard coated to MIL-8625 Type 3 class 2. With enhanced dual retention anti-slip and anti-rotating handguards.
Bolt Carrier Group: Tool craft 9310 steel bolt assembly with extra strength extractor springs that is nitride for increased durability.  8620 carrier, nitride treated, with a nitride treated gas key properly staked with grade 8 fasteners.  A 7075 T6 aluminum charging handle is also included.
The Gen3 PA10 receivers are functionally compatible with the Gen1 and Gen2 upper receivers, however, we recommend matching Gen3 lowers to Gen3 uppers for best appearance and performance.  There are external cosmetic differences when mixing Gen1 with Gen2 and Gen3 upper and lower receivers that some may not find appealing.
The AR10 platform does not enjoy a common design between manufacturers, like the AR15. As a result, there can and will be subtle differences in the parts kits of various manufacturers. Some parts, like the fire control group, are shared with the AR15 platform to preserve the options for upgrading. For best results, we recommend only using PSA PA10 parts with our uppers and lower receivers. We do not recommend using other manufacturers parts in our products.

The ads you guys are posting are not A3's and no rail system, different barrels, adjustable gas block, etc. I am not a PSA fanboy but you guys are too quick to call "price gouging" when it is called supply and demand. Learn basic economics and if you don't like the deal, move along Francis.

"Basic economics" is something people who last learned about the concept in 3rd grade fall back on, gouging, along with more complex concepts come after you stop getting milk and a nap.

I posted the same Gen 2 upper in at $349 for comparison. If you think that an adjustable gas block and barrel are worth $300 then I have a bridge to sell you. Fun fact, both the separate upper I posted earlier and this one have the exact same barrel, M4 "heavy." (some Gen 3's have a "dimpled" barrel but this one CLEARLY does not). $300 for the adjustable gas block....damn, 'supply and demand' must be through the roof for that to be worth $300......

I guess you don't know what price gouging is either. Comparing completely different rifles is ridiculous.

"Completely different" = $300 extra for an adjustable gas block.

LOL, quit while you are behind.

Sorry you are so poor you cannot afford either rifle.

Sorry I triggered you. I not only own it I probably have more in firearms than you have in total savings as I sit here with 2 homes and retired at 50. Now move along snowflake.

You didn't trigger me, actually you are the one who who seems pretty butthurt about having spent extra $300 on a gas block. I am sure your collection of hi-points and two double wide's on that half acre are quite the achievement. Congrats but I do have a question, seems to me you are pretty insecure with your lot in life if you have to have pissing contests with strangers via the internet.

Lol, says the guy who said "Sorry you are so poor you cannot afford either rifle." I guess you are good at projecting your own insecurities. I sold my last house for $1.5 million and pocketed over half so rub that in your snowflake ass. No pissing contest as I'm sure you sit when you go...

LOL, sure you did papi. Now you are bragging about a dollar amount I doubt you could type with commas. More dick measuring?

Trust me, I am doing a shit ton better in my 30's then you ever will but I do wish you the best.

Oh and "snowflake"...that was clever.

Suuuuure you are. See, when you talk smack on the internet you're likely to run into someone who knows more, has done more, and and is head and shoulders above where you will ever be. Stick to something you know, it sure isn't firearms or who you are shit talking to in forums. Typical keyboard warrior.

"Typical keyboard warrior."

'I'm rich, envy me, seriously, please believe because my sense of self worth depends on it.'

Really proud you made it an entire post without making some new, crazy claim. 1.5m and PSA rifle....LOL.....MY SIDES HURT!

Well now... aren't YOU a BIG BOY! I only paid $47,500 for my humble home and property about 12 years ago. And I bet I am happier than you. Trump may have lost the election and I am STILL happy. Disappointed a bit, but no completely losing it like Snowflakes did in 2016. And most people don't need to go on sites to brag about what they have.
BTW Why are you looking at the 'cheapo' gun section with all that cash lying around...and STILL complaining about the prices?

Good for you. Asshat above brought up money if you bothered to read it. I have money because I don't waste it and I never complained about the prices, the panic buyers on here are.

Gen 2 and a different hand guard the complete rifle was $479.

The slight differences between Gen 2 and 3 are not worth a 75% price increase (assuming $849 for both upper and lower).

Gen 2 upper of this same style was $349 and now the Gen 3 upper is $649? That is gouging, plain and simple.

Broader Compatibility with .308 BCGs
Twice Staked Castle Nuts
Dimpled 416R Stainless Steel Barrel
5-Position Adjustable Click Switch Gas Block
Extra Power Extractor Springs
7075 T6 Charging Handle
Anti-slip/Anti-rotation Handguards
