Barrel: Machined from 416R Stainless Steel, chambered in .308 WIN with a 1/10 twist rate, mid-length gas, and nitride treated for accuracy and durability. Upper has a front sight post gas block, Classic Midlength Handguard, and an A2-style muzzle device.
Upper: Precision machined from forged 7075-T6 aluminum, then Black anodize hardcoated to MIL-8625 Type 3 class 2.
Bolt Carrier Group: 9310 steel bolt assembly, nitride treated for durability. 8620 carrier, nitride treated, with a nitride treated gas key properly staked with grade 8 fasteners. Charging handle is also included.
Lower: Precision machined from forged 7075-T6 aluminum, these lowers are then Black anodize hardcoated to MIL-8625 Type 3 class 2. With an AR-15 style fire control group, and Classic M4 Stock, and classic A2 grip, the PSA PA10 allows the same configuration flexibility as enjoyed by the AR15, and is an ideal platform for the 308 cartridge.

$600 not a deal since they were on this site for $480 just a few days ago.
This place is getting shady in hiding past deals in the search returns.

Seems like a good deal on a nice rifle. I built my PSA PA 10 (guess it's a Gen 1 though) with their Blem Lower and Upper separate offerings, though and saved almost $200. Still can't figure out where the "blems" are though. Only functioned checked at the range, was surprised that it had more "kick" than my Garand, even though a shorter cartridge and a little heavier and a recoil buffer system. Need to find out how to tame the recoil a little more to make it comfortable to shoot. Heavier buffer? Compensator? A compensator that directs the blast vertically would be preferable as I don't like absorbing the "other guys" side blasting compensators. Want to be range friendly! Any ideas or info would be helpful.
Have flip rear iron sights but have to decide on what type of optic, red dot, scope that will cowitness and not too expensive.
If you are willing to drop about $200 into it replace the gas block with an adjustable one($50) and look into the Armaspec SRS ($75). Get an Aim Sports handguard for like $50 and get rid of that crappy plastic handguard. It will look and feel MUCH better!

IMHO this upper/lower combo is a better deal with better components (trigger and free float hand guard to name a few) for less money if caught on sale and available.
My PA-10 cycled fine with American Eagle brass, despite some negative reviews online.
Normally I suggest buying the complete upper and lower with the Magpul furniture and EPT trigger, when on sale.
They have had the new PX-10 which is a little smaller and lighter for $599 ( They sell fast! ) I have one coming, I'll compare it to my PA-10, and keep you guys posted.
Got mine for $450, they had the upgraded MOE MIAD ACS lower on sale for $150 during the summer and I got the upper with the nitride barrel recently for $300. Got a killer deal on the 25 round pmags at Brownells too, $190 for 10 of them when they had the $40 off $300 promo going on, I threw some D60s in the cart, which came with a $15 gift card each, split the orders, added a filler, and saved $50.
