I just hit this deal and I’m well pleased. It ran $248 all in with tax and FFL fee. Trigger is Smooth! at about 5 pounds pull but very nice. I’m thinking a short 300 Blackout upper may fit this well. And it only took a week to get it.

Got this back when it was $219. Still going strong, zero issues.

Back in stock. Just ordered. To good a deal to pass up. Brace alone is $100+.

Yep. They sell the MOE EPT kit with this brace for $150. So even if you managed to get a cheap lower, most of the time no one is getting a stripped or 80% lower cheaper than $50. This is the absolute best deal on the market for anyone wanting to get an excellent AR15 platform pistol.

A good deal, but you could still do better. To ship this to an FFL they’ll charge me $40 to transfer. So $240 total. You could buy the kit (minus lower) for $130 + $40 stripped lower (local) would be $170 ($70 difference).

Is this "other" on the 4473? Or is it dedicated to pistol?

Got mine. Took about a week and a half but that's fine. Sits so well on my pistol upper. Lets see how it holds up. Can't really beat the price at all.

Is this a good buy really? I'm looking at getting the sba3 for $130 so is it worth it to get it all and just have another extra lower? Help me make a decision here.

I mean given that brownells got the brace for $97.99, if you only need the brace then this PSA bundle wouldn't be the deal for you. Do the math and see what works best for you. I needed to save time and money so I went with this PSA deal. If you piece all these items by price then I'm sure it will be well over the $219 mark and time spent to put them all together.

yeah, it's worth it... here's the math

Brace - $129.99
Lower- $48.99 shipped
LPK ----$50-$55 for a decent one (more for the EPK trigger)
Castle nut- $6
Lock plate - $2

$236-$241 (and that's IF you can get the LPK, Castle nut and Lock plate with free shipping)

and you don't have to assemble it yourself. AND you get the EPK trigger.

Buying a lower online requires a FFL transfer. For me it’s a $40 fee. Much cheaper to buy the stripped lower local ($40), buy the brace and parts kit for $130 and save yourself $70 overall. Built a 300blk m-lok SBA3 pistol for $410.

FFL around here are $20 or less. Usually less. Unless I want to use some retail store like Academy and then it's $40. Getting a stripped lower after tax local though for $40 is a bit of a surprise. Stripped lowers around here are all over $50 and I can sometimes get ones from online for $40 shipped, but then I have to get it transferred at an FFL. The lower parts kit PSA with the SBA3 is $120 without having the EPT upgrades. It's $150 with the EPT upgrade. For me that is about the same after FFL fee (I pay $10) if I get my own stripped lower elsewhere.

You're basically paying 90 bucks for a complete lower. so you are saving something like 30-40 bucks or you can view it as you are paying 90 bucks for the brace and saving 30-40 bucks.

Due to recent changes in California state law, Palmetto State Armory will no longer be able to ship so called “assault weapons” to the state of California. This would include all Palmetto State Armory AR-15 Complete lowers, AR-15 Complete Rifles, and all Palmetto State Armory AK-47 rifles. This would also include other makes and models of these same firearm platforms manufactured by other companies. Example: Colt AR-15 rifle.

As of the 18th of December all ammunition orders must be shipped to a California DOJ approved FFL. If any further guidance is provided by the state of California, then the current policy will be adjusted to reflect the change. If no further guidance is published before January 1, 2018, the policy will be that any ammunition purchase for California will only be shipped to an FFL dealer.

No ammunition sales to the cities of Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, or Avalon.

Don't know why sellers even mess with states like NY, CA, Il. Just sell to gun friendly states.

Because most Americans live in those states?

Some of them mess with it for profit, some just to help out the poor guys that live there. There are pro 2nd people in those states that don't have the option to move. If all sellers just deserted those states those pro-2nd guys there would just be screwed.

Don't have the option to move? The only ones who don't have that option are the ones in prison or on probation. EVERYONE ELSE has that option. They just choose to live in a state with strict gun laws. No one is forcing them to do so. The United States is a very large country with many options on where to live. Hot climates and cold climates. Rich cities and poor towns. You can't afford to live in a town like San Francisco on minimum wage. Not unless the government pays your bills and you spend your entire existence wondering why you never get ahead in life. The same goes for gun ownership. You spend your entire life wondering why you have to own a 'state approved' gun or why very few online sellers will sell you ammo or guns while there are no restrictions in other states...and bitching about it every day! If you are too poor, $270 will get you from San Diego to New York using Greyhound and its affiliates. ANd there are thousands of towns/cities in-between. That is about 2 months of doing without cigarettes or a week or two working a second job. Having a family will take longer but is definitely doable.

I'm one of those people stuck in Illinois. I don't understand why there's a law where I can't get a tax stamp here for a sbr or a suppressor but I guess it can be worse a lot worse seeing California's gun laws.

And what about those of us that are divorced with kids and have court orders to stay within so many miles of our ex's? Or just choice to be responsible parents and stay close. If you've got a genius response to get me out of NY I'd love to hear it. I've got 5 more yrs here, until then I'm stuck.

Sorry. Can't help you out there bud. I was stuck in CA for four years in the Navy. Didn't have a choice either. The weather was perfect, but everything else sucked. But when my enlistment was up, I was back in TX the same day. Good luck with that.

You spelled out the answer for yourself there, some people have families that they need to take care of. Parents who are ill and refuse to move that they need to care for, kids/grandkids that are in the area that don't want to move. Jobs are an issue as well, your chosen profession may not exist in a gun friendly state. In addition their extra spending money may not be going to cigs, it could be going to meds that are required for living such as insulin.

In the end, the plain and simple truth is this. They shouldn't have to move to enjoy rights that are given by the constitution.

Well, to keep this short...as I said...it is their CHOICE. One can always find another job. Will they make as much $$$? Perhaps not. But again, it is their choice. Extremely few jobs are limited to a certain area. And it doesn't have to be cigarettes. How about any luxury that isn't a necessity? And if you don't make enough to move, call Dave Ramsey. He will give you the advice you need. A car is not a must. My 45-year-old sister who lives in San Antonio has never driven a day in her life. Yet she gets to work and to the store just fine. I, on the other hand, have a pickup and two cars at home that gets 12,000 miles a year on all three combined. Having no public transportation and having a company truck as well, we only need one vehicle. But that is my choice. And neither is a cell phone. But most people that make 1/4 of what I do have a cellphone that costs 5X of what mine costs and buys a new one 3X as often.

But we can agree on one thing...They shouldn't have to move to enjoy rights that are given by the constitution.

And when/if CA splits from the Union, and Trump goes in and removes the Government of California (something that should be done anyway), then maybe laws will change in favor of less gun control. People who run CA have a short memory-remember what happened to the Confederate States of America? California won't have a chance. Want to see the people who are wanting this? Just listen to this idiot Tucker is interviewing... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkWrhLb9sUI...
Unless I am mistaking, FEDERAL PROPERTY is just that, not California's. INCLUDING military bases and hardware/soldiers.

Dave Ramsey is an idiot.

Unless your income increases, which wages have stagnant, getting out of debt is only part of your financial profile. Never does he talk about getting an education, the sole factor in making more money in America.

2 votes

I think you need a better job. Or maybe need to stay with one job for a longer time.

"Never does he talk about getting an education". That is a flat-out lie. Half of his preaching is on getting an education. Why is your job pay so stagnant if you have a good education? You just said it was 'the sole factor in making more money in America'.

People buy homes that far exceed their ability to pay. Then buy new automobiles they can't afford because they put half their paycheck into their home. Have 2-5 credit cards they have maxed out. Have 3-8 kids they can't afford. THAT is why people can't get ahead in life.

I listen to Dave every chance I get. Do I live exactly as he instructs? No. I have three credit cards. One I put up, two I carry with me using only one which I pay off every week. I have three nice vehicles. One brand new. Last month I payed $7K on my car. It will be paid off by September. He would frown upon having any car debt.

But it is interesting you start your post with 'Dave Ramsey is an idiot' yet you say your 'wages have stagnant'. I am thinking Dave is not the idiot here. My wages are quite the opposite.

"wages have stagnated"

ie, US wages have. Not mine.

Same here. But it helps when people stay at a job for more than 6 months at a time. Mine have been going up for the last 24 years. Maybe he can move to Mexico for a year, then return to the US where he will be making 3-5X more. Then things won't look so gloom.
