PSA used to be bargain quality for a bargain price. They got greedy and their prices are ridiculous. Bought a Zastava instead, Better guns for the same money.
Looking at the paper zastava m70 is not better than this. For m70, the bolt and front trunnion is not forged based on their own info on their website. They claim their barrel is forged and chrome lined, bolt carrier is forged, but bolt and trunnion are made of blocks of steel which they avoid saying they are forged which means they are not. And that 1.5mm receiver is not necessary and made the gun too front heavy, ps I just bought an m70 from Atlanta firearm a few weeks ago.
Zastava Kovacnica (now 100% subsidiary of Zastava Arms Serbia) never has and never will produce a cast trunnion rifle. they've had the tooling for forged machining including barrels for nearly 100 years. free forging and heat treating since 1958 and most recent modern full production forging since 1970.
Which ever PAP rifle you end up buying, will be more than adequate and I think you'll be pleased
Bro my argument is they are not forged, then you rebuttal the argument that they are not casted....Again, go find any official evidence online or off line showing their bolt and trunnion are forged, post the link here so we can all join the club to admire zpap.

Own 3. 2 of the 3 have BOLT/ FIRING PIN issues (possibly a chamber issue on one rifle). 1st rifle has an Egg shaped firing pin hole and a out of spec (undersized diameter and overall length too long) firing pin. Second rifle is popping holes in primers. BOTH have primer flow around the firing pin into the bolt. BOTH rifles have less than 20rds through them. I don't believe they are safe to shoot. All 3 rifle firing pins are different lengths, diameters, and profile (one flat squared off, ne slightly beveled tip, and ONE with a normal rounded tip). How can the QC be this bad?
Save your money and buy a zastava. Serious issues with all my PSA AK's. Lifetime warranty or not, it's not worth it!
