Sounds like a great deal, but can I use another regular AR-15 upper with a 9mm barrel and a 9mm bolt with Glock cut from someone else? What is so special about the PSA upper? Or is the upper receiver different from a regular AR upper?

With this lower can definitely either buy (or make your own from parts) 9mm upper. Just make sure you get a Glock-cut bolt.

I have one PSA LRBHO (Last Round Bolt Hold Open) glock mag lower, and have made two glock mag lowers based on New Frontier's C9 lower (same pattern as the PSA one listed in this ad). All of the uppers I built from parts.

If you are looking to get into one affordably, look at Spinta Precision's bolt. $109 for a 'blem' (no blem on mine) or $129 for normal:

I've used barrels from Spinta, KAK, and Faxon and they are work just peachy.

Im in for a couple of these when they get down to $200 shipped. Just too much right now in my opinion.

Lol, please.. Please, pleeeeease! Tell us all who is selling glock-mag complete lowers for $200. At this pricing, you're looking at under $650 for a complete gun - cheaper than the unobtainable sub 2k's street price, and this one would be a real *metal* gun. This one is a game-changer.

You read into my comment wrong. Im not saying its not a good buy if you are in the market for a 9mm pistol. Im saying its not appealing to me until it hits $200, which it will.
