PSA had the same price on the same kit but - with mid-length gas, EPT trigger, and keymod rail, and free shipping. I purchased that kit about a month ago.
It was PSA's "Freedom kit", like this one, which must be their entry level kit because IMO it is not as nicely finished and detailed as my other PSA brand ARs. Still a decent deal.

How much should that fact that this is a carbine vs at least mid length gas system concern me? Seems like a really reasonable deal for a cheap build but I'm not site how set I should be on at least a mid length?

This is a solid deal! I almost pulled the trigger at $449.99, but I'm glad I waited. At $419.99, This puts my overall cost at just over $450 with an Anderson lower.. Not bad considering it has flip ups and an m-lok rail. Thanks Trump!
