Does the psa upper really come with adjustable gas block? That’s surprising.
I would think the ballistics of a 6.5 Grendel out of a 12” barrel is less than stellar considering what the 6.5grendel is and does. Largely a waste of powder if you do the ballistic math.
That assumption would be wrong. Read up on the ballistics of Grendel out of 12-13" barrels.
I purchased the complete 12" 6.5 Grendel Upper from PSA (5165449195) for $279.99 back on 10-1-18. $110 more than the barrel bolt combo. By the time you purchase the adjustable gas block, gas tube, upper receiver, CH, hand guard with barrel nut and flash suppressor/brake you will be well over $110 (unless you go really cheap). IMHO wait for this sale to happen again rather than buy this combo unless you really want to customize the build.
