Barrel: Chrome Moly steel. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, with a 1/7 twist, M4 barrel extension, and a carbine-length gas system. Barrel is is finished off with a calssic FDE handguard, F-Marked gas sight base, and A2 flash hider.
Upper: Forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper is machined to MIL-SPECS and hard coat anodized. Uppers include forward assist and dust cover. These uppers are made for us right here in the USA by a mil-spec manufacturer.
Bolt: Full-auto profile bolt carrier group. Shot-peened, mil-spec Carpenter No. 158® steel bolt. Gas Key Hardened to USGI Specifications, Fastened with Grade 8 screws, and Staked Per Mil-Spec.
Lower: These forged lowers are quality made using 7075-T6 aluminum and are marked "MULTI" for caliber. Finish is hardcoat anodize. Finished with a KAK Industries Shockwave Blade and Buffer Tube. The the fire control group is a PSA mil-spec finished, single-stage assembly.

Got this for $290 buying the upper & lower separately. That was a good deal. This, not so much.
Oddly enough all the 'Classic Pistol Kits' are OOS, but even the MOE kits + stripped lower will be cheaper. But I agree, save yourself a couple hundred and build your own lower.
Given the price of the lower is $249, how can you save $200 doing it yourself?
The lower is $120. The upper w/o bolt and charging handle is $150. Bolt=$50 and What you spend on a charging handle $10-100 is up to you. So about $150-$170 cheaper to build. Excise taxes suck.

$350 separate or $500 complete........sometimes pushing a couple of pins in might just be worth the extra $150?
