This NIJ 0106.01 Level IIIA compliant helmet is fitted with a fully adjustable and removable 4-point harness. The additional adjustable chin strap with side release buckle closure provide ultimate ease and comfort. Allows for an integration of NVG brackets and side accessory rails. Constructed from high strength composite materials, this helmet is finished with a matt/textured PU paint with low IR.

So people shouldn't own the gear to support their firearms? Chest rig, plate carrier, body armor, helmet, and so on? As free people we shouldn't own the things to protect ourselves? Are you one of those "im for the 2nd amendment but" people?
when was the last time you wore your helmet at the shooting range? or out hunting? even just shooting out in the woods? or are you the guy who "gears up" before checking out every bump in the night? do you have your "combat gear" stacked by the door for the armageddon??? Im simply saying why would any regular joe need a helmet like this? maybe your one of those "Boogerlooboys"?? got your shiny hawaii shirt, chest rig with 10 mags and tournaquets , bulletproof plates, and combat helmet? oh dont forget the hard knuckle fingerless gloves and blade sunglasses! lol
I think I am a pretty regular guy, and I have 2 of these. My son and I wear them everytime the tornado sirens go off. We put on plate carriers and helmets and head into the basement. I may never use them for gearing up, like you said, but if your house gets hit by a tornado, it is good to have some protection. Unfortunatly in Oklahoma it happens quite a bit but at least once a year we are putting this on and I am happy to have them.
