Wrong picture as they are showing old mod 1. This is an amazing gun, probably in my top 5 for best AR’s made right now. If you going to run suppressed it’s in my top 2 along with LWRC. The ad is wrong as well, wrong furniture, barre specs, break, caliber (223 Wylde). This gun is full Ambi, comes with Zev trigger, no sights. The adjustable long stroke piston is very nice. There are a number of additional cool innovative features on this gun as well (ratchet emdplate, lightweight receivers, break, ambi bolt catch, trigger, lightweight buffer system, etc.). This along with my Renegade + are my favorite AR’s And among the most “complete” Systems avalible. $1,400 is a fair price. If these come down any further they will be a steal.
Agreed - one of my favorite AR platforms as well - with a LONG stroke piston too!!! Among the other problems pointed out, the MK118 is an 18" barrel and the MK114 is the 14.5". I'm guessing they mean MK114? The Mod 1's are great as well as the Mod 1P models - just a little heavier than the Mod 2 variants. Accuracy on these is worth mentioning as all of mine have provided sub MOA.
I'm a big fan of the long stroke piston they put into the package - light material and eliminates the metal to metal contact of the piston and BCG.
