Hellcat 3" Micro Compact OSP 11+1/13+1
Mfr Part: HC9319BOSP
After years of development, we are proud to introduce the Hellcat, the highest capacity micro compact 9mm in the world and the next generation of defensive pistol from Springfield Armory. The 3" barreled micro compact pistol features a class leading capacity of 11+1 with its patented magazine — 13+1 with the included extended mag — and is the result of years of painstaking development and engineering in addition to intensive collaboration with top engineers, shooters and self defense experts.
The Hellcat is offered in two models, the standard with the fixed U-Dot™ sight system and an OSP model ready to accept red dot sights. The Hellcat OSP features a removable seamless cover plate that allows direct mounting of a micro red dot to the slide for the lowest possible profile that co-witnesses the U-Dot sight system included on both pistols.

Looks like an LCP was raped by a skateboard, then adopted by a kel tec family.. more polymer trash.
Hey guys anyone with input...I watched youtube reviews on the hellcat.. didn't appear to be total junk.
Anyway I'm considering buying 1.. I currently own a ruger lcp2 and a walther ppq sc for my c&c .. is this gun smaller than the ppq sc? ... would like a smaller 9mm
Instead of the 6+1 380 ... anyone out there with non byas knowledge to help a guy not drop $500 on a firearm thats really no different than what I already have......
Please and thank you
Yes, the hellcat is noticeably smaller than the ppq sc. I'm making that statement based upon published specs, and size and photo comparisons of the p365 v hellcat, which are relatively the same size. For all practical purposes, the p365 and hellcat are the same size. Hellcat has more rounded edges than the p365 so may not have the same block printing issue of p365 with pocket carry. Considering those 2 are nearly identical in size, I am holding right now a p365 and a ppq sc to compare sizes and the p365 is noticeably smaller than the ppq sc, so the hellcat will also be noticeably smaller than the ppq sc. The most noticeable difference is the thicker slide and frame of the ppq sc. 1.3" for ppq sc, 1" for hellcat and p365. In hand, it is a big difference. PPQ sc is 6 ozs heavier.
Disclaimer: the ppq sc is a great gun with many strengths. I'm not knocking it or claiming it is bad, but if size is the dominate factor, the hellcat wins vs the ppq sc.
Sometimes, when it comes to concealed carry, size is the only thing that matters. There are times when LCP is only thing that works for my specific situation, and I carry it instead of Shield, p365, xds, G43, or other options considered more powerful.
Stippled frame, single stack width with double stack capacity, and a Rmr cut for $500? I'll take that deal. Whoever's idea it was to put gripzone and hellcat all over the sidearms needs to be fired though.
I bought an hk p30 sk w night sights & 3 mags a year ago. Awesome ccp !! Look into one compared to a Croatian mfg Springfield... hk are spot on from the factory...
Want to see all the wannabes? post about springfield and watch them all come out with their catch phrase hating
How many horsepower does the Hellcat have again?
Get a sig p365 SAS. Just about as much, better built ,and much more advanced.
hunk of crap sas package gonna get idiots killed. The stupid night sight doesnt work with low light the ported barrel will blind u instantly at night So goodgood luck with that crap and before you think I’m biased I own all three glad Sig and Springfield a couple more toluck with that. Ill take the sosand
How could you even know that? The hellcat hasnt been released. How can you compare something youve never even shot or held in your hand?
I wonder if we get that special edition hellcat box from Springfield .
I look at this gun and see GRIPZONE...…..
Three new little ones with higher capacity (this, G43(x), P365. Which is great! More competition means more and better choices, lower prices. I think I'll wait for another year or two while they fight it out. But who knows maybe an 8oz 9mm with 10 rounds next year?
I'm surprised a little by the springfield haters. Yes, I own the other options. Shield, G43, are great but dont match the capacity. I do like the p365 a lot. However, liking the p365 does not make this gun trash. I also love my multiple springfield xds, love my springfield xdm, and have never had a problem with any Springfield firearm. I see this springfield hellcat, very much like a version 3 of the xds, with major changes being removal of grip safety, and redesign of magazine. No doubt the original xds platform was adapted around a larger capacity 1.5 stack thin walled magazine, and thin walled grip frame, similar to the p365.
No, I'm not a fan of the hellcat name. I also do respect others rights to avoid a brand or vender if they dont like their politics, but that doesn't make the product bad.
I will be buying one soon and expect it to be a great option, amongst many other good options.

Look at the "facing up" photos on the above link comparing p365 w hellcat. I think the largest factor that will affect shootability of the hellcat, in its favor over the p365, is the hellcat's lower bore axis, or the higher possible grip in the beavertail. Add to that a flat bladed trigger with nickel boron treated trigger engagement surfaces, top and front slide serrations, red dot option, and a unique and seemingly effective grip texture and I think it is definitely worth considering.
This comment is one of the most logical responses to all the hate (honestly deserved, IMHO) for Springfield, and I don’t understand why it’s necessary for people to thumbs down your comment. I agree with your position. I won’t buy one - because Springfield - but I don’t think for a second that it’s a poor product. Let time decide that. For now, I’ll stick to my P-10 S for EDC.
Amen man. People are annoying just because of a products brand. I also have 2 xds and 1 xdm and they are amazing. Unless you have shot a hellcat and are able to compare it side by side with the g43 or p365 dont be calling something trash before you even touch it.
Maybe most people don't want to give them any money because they will just pay off some pro gun control Democrats with the money? SA is garbage in my opinion.
Whats funny is how many basement dwelling commandos dont know jack SHIT about anything that ACTUALLY happened where SA is concerned, but are a bunch of effing groupies following the sheep herder. Anyone logical would say, they publically apologized, FIRED the guy, life goes on. I cant buy from HS in Croatia, so SA it is if they are able to provide me a means of protection, that works better for me than another offering. Quit buying from them, and youre putting American workers out of a job that had nothing to do with a one time eff up that was cleared up.
Can we just buy these directly from Croatia or an importer and avoid giving Springfield any money?
Okay, this is a brilliant thought. Kudos, my man. Kudos to you.
What and buy a Glock made in Austria? Cool story bro.
Hellcat is the best name they can come up with? Lol nice try
Pass. I'll take an American Made Sig P365 instead, over this Croatian built gun, imported by a 2A backstabber.
Pass on the P365. I don't like how loose the magazine is and it is too small for my hands
Try the 12 round mag for the P365. Works great.
The extended 12 round feels very loose to me. It fits my hand, barely, but once again, I prefer the flush-fit magazine due to being less loosey-goosey which doesn't fit my hand.
To all the downvoters, is that extended magazine loose?! Yes, yes it is. I rest my case; get your snowflake feelings out of here.
I down vote and agree that the P365 grip is a little loose in my hand. All my P365 mags are snug inside the grip-frame, and I train to adjust my grip because I have a large palm and want to carry 12+1 in gym clothes in the summer. In the winter I carry a Glock 20, and feel like it is a good fit for my hand; while most think a G20/21 has a 'fat' grip. Please explain to me why your ugly fat palms (like mine) make the P365 worse than the 2nd amendment backstabbing SA hellcat. BTW the hellcat technically has a shorter grip that should make it looser by your definition, but that's none of my business.
What happened to the promoted marking, it's obvious who is paying to be at the top. Why not be open and honest about paid promotions?
