Is this the best deal this year?

No. Your transfer with ffl will eat up a good portion of that rebate and you have to be a sportsman’s guide member

I'm sure you would give 150. Do you try to haggle over the price of your groceries too? This isn't Craigslist.

Doesn't work like that. These are FIXED prices. Not an auction.

Need LCP II at this price.

Great price at $169.00, especially if you prefer this over the LCP II since the original LCP is smaller and thinner.

I never thought SG was a deal either but I just picked up a Windham diamondhead 300blackout for $720 all in. $500 less then anywhere else... Yesterday I picked up a vortex strike eagle for $260.... The coupons and codes are pain in the ass but saving over $600 is well worth it...

You are right it's the one with the red trigger that I read about in shot show 2015 it has a luminescent front sight. I really like the folks at Kentucky gun club. this will be my third Purchase from them.

I am seriously pissed at SG. I ordered one of these a couple of weeks ago as a Christmas present and then a couple of days ago these a-holes sent me an email saying that it is backordered. It didn't say anything about backorder when I ordered it. I let them know what I thought of them and then I found out from them that all they are is a middleman. They don't have firearms. The firearms are shipped third party.

Yeah SG gets their guns from bill hicks... Go over to kentucky gun co and they have the custom version lcp with the better sights, better trigger and stainless guide rod for about $220 shipped.... and its in stock !

Hey if you have coupons to the site thats great, but you can't really include that as what constitutes a hot deal, because you can use these coupons for just about anything else. tThe price is ok, but the cost of a 380 ammo is crazy expensive so I don't know if I would get a 380 for that reason alone... I'd spend a little more upfront and get a nine millimeter then you can use some HST SD ammo that's cheaper than regular white box 380. Although it does make a nice tiny pocket weapon or a nice back up, I'd still go with a 9mm. Good luck though and congrats to anyone who wanted a decent .380 and got in on the deal! I hope that works out for you.

I wouldn't order anything from Sportsman's Guide. I did and they screwed me out of the Remington rebate for ammo by keeping the outer sleeve and would do nothing about it. Technically, they substituted one item for another. Lost the $50 rebate.
Customer service was worthless.

If you call them, they will give you a $20 store credit per 100 rounds purchased. It's not $50 but it is better than nothing.

If your talking about the buckshot, I almost went for the same deal. They didn't have the rebate listed on the page like the other 100 rnd box so I called and asked what the difference was and found out that it was 4- 25 rnd boxes. I had bought 4 of those though so I would have had 12- 25 rnd boxes that didn't qualify for the rebate. I was luckily able to cancel before it was shipped. I had posted on another thread hoping to help others not making the same mistake.

you talking about the buckshot ? because the rebate is valid on the 25 round packs. You will get $10 per box, so you will still get $40 back !!

Why would you call this a deal. I can buy one at Lanbos ready to ship for $195 delivered and I don't have to buy any goofy "membership" to shop there...Wake up people!

2 votes
2 votes

For me Sportsman's is a great deal since I have $80 in gift cards and I can get this for $130 shipped. To an average shopper Lanbos is the better deal but also remember not even a week ago these were still around $270 and up so even with the $15 difference between Lanbos and Sportman's everyone that decides to buy now is getting a great deal no matter which dealer they to decide to buy from. The big question is why the sudden price cut from all these dealers? I smell striker fired LCP being introduced soon.

Ever heard of a little company called Amazon? It appears others find memberships worthwhile. You don't. So what?

I have $50 in gift cards that make this a very hot deal!

2 votes
0 votes

Umm.....Amazon does not require a membership.

But now that we have set that bar, here is the truth: Your points, the free shipping, the "special deals", it's all a con. They are selling you your own fat and calling it designer soap (Fight Club reference). I have NEVER seen a Sportsmans Guide deal that was the lowest available price. The exception being back ordered steel cased 7.62x39 ammo that they ended up canceling all of the orders on anyway.

Again---- Wake Up!

1 vote

Umm....SG does not require a membership either.

You do know when you buy a $30 membership they give you a $20 gift cert that you can use on your next order, right? And gift certs stack with coupons. Plus they give an extra 5% and free shipping on that first membership buying order. That means on that first order you can use a money off code since they give free shipping on that order. If you can do math, most see that the membership is a good deal. If you don't save $30 in the first year with a membership, SG will refund the difference!! How can you lose!?!

I'm awake! Are you??

BTW, we all got these gift certs for FREE on past deals that had FREE shipping and no minimum order! Buy a plastic ammo box for $3 FREE shipping and get a $20 gift cert. too. I bought three boxes of needed ammo separately, and got three gift certs for a total of $50. The shame is YOU don't know how to play the game!

I don't think you can really count coupons you can use another merchandise as part of this deal.

This is rediculous. Don't you remember Black Friday 2014?!?!? I work to hard to spend my money at Buds or any other scam shop.

Particulary when you can get a LCP custom for $215 or a KLCP for $194.

No thank you Buds CON shop.

Try to remember that Buds is a huge price gouger, taking advantage of tragedy. They doubled AR prices, and are stilllisting forged lowers for $199....but down from $299...LOL

Fuck Buds!

So name a company that doesn't do this and has an unlimited supply of guns/ ammo to sell? The others simply took their guns and made them 'out of stock' and sat on them briefly and did the same thing. Remember the Saiga 12? 7n6?

1 vote

Honestly, in several cases the dealers are taking the blame for what the distributors and manufacturers are doing to them. Pricing varies widely from the source. There are many of us who don't sit on stock. During the Obama presidency, we were waiting 6 months plus to get an order of lowers in. Remember the Vepr 12? I could list it for the lowest price on the internet right now and everyone would say I'm gouging because of a price it listed for a year ago. I can't even buy it for the price it listed for a year ago. The last sellable stock of it rests with one distributor.

So are you saying we shouldn’t still be calling CTD aholes? It’s not their fault for still overpricing .22?
