Am I missing something? This $50 with shipping..... I don't know if that's a good or bad deal but not $29.99 with shipping...
I purchased one of these to magnify the Aimpoint PRO for my AR-15 about 5 years ago. It cost me $90 then, so this is a great deal. Mine has worked wonderfully and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
Mako is misrepresenting the magnification. It seems to be more of a 3x or 4x magnifier. Definitely not 7x. I purchased a UTG 30mm QD High Profile scope mount and it aligned well with the stock mount on the Aimpoint PRO.
Does this come with the mount pictured?
i don't think the mounts are included i see now where it said it was.
What? So the mount IS or ISNT included?
This thing is useless w/o a flip to side mount. If installed on a standard rail with a regular mount it is not even possible to open lens covers as red dot scope and magnifier stays too close to each other.
A good flip to side mount costs 150-200$.
Plus x7 is really a stretch. Normally x3 is more practical.
You're going to spend $200 on a mount to hold an $80 magnifier?
Not trying to be condescending: Please share if you know where to get a decent flip side mount for a reasonable price. I find the prices for mounts absurd, but I only know 3 manufacturers (ADM, Bobro, and Larue).
It boggles my mind that I spent more money on a mount than the price of a quality lower receiver. The margins on these things are ridiculous.
Again, please share where to get decent optic mounts sub $100 if you know. I know I'd be grateful. I paid $150 for my Bobro and I know the other manufacturer's are charging a premium as well.
Got this one from Ebay for a better deal than Amazon:
Solid and works good.

Here's another. I have no experience with this one but... Save you from tapping a few keys.
That's just 1 of them. My friend bought this exact one and it's great. Hold the magn. in place and doesn't move/wobble at all. If you do a search on ebay, amazon etc. for 'flip mount' you will get dozen of them
Primary arms has a good mount vortex is good.both go on sale often enough
