I wish we could hide comments from 3 years ago when the price was half this.

After tax and shipping, this is not a deal. Nor is it even a deal at 149. Primary Arms sells this for $109.

I just checked Primary Arms & they don't have anything like this for $109

It would be nice if we were able to remove votes. I gave a thumbs up over a year ago when this $89.

Most of the people that are considering purchasing these over priced BCGs don't know that most of the problems they will encounter with BCGs can be fixed easily, with less than $4.00 worth of parts. Most of you would be better served by putting together a "BCG FIRST AID KIT". made up of the component parts that are most likely to fail, or degrade. You can start for under $20, with a couple of extractor springs, extractor spring inserts, two sets of gas rings, a firing pin retention pin, and a extra buffer spring. All of these items are currently available, and should fix 90%+ of the BCG problems you may encounter in your next 5000 rds. If you feel the need to be more prepared for some unknown future event, like a zombie apocalypse. You can spend an additional $35 on these items: extractor/with pin, ejector/with roll pin, ejector spring, firing pin, and cam pin. We all need to shop smart, and not feed the greed, so if you can't find these items at close to the prices I mentioned, feel free to message me for assistance.

Not really sure how I feel about companies openly trying to snipe in the comments. Don't you have an employee's account you can do this with?

Just spreading the word on the best deals on the market.. the big companies get preferential treatment even when their deals aren't as good as smaller companies. It's a shame

Serious noob question: if the specs on this PSA BCG are the same as all the high profile BCG's that are double and triple the price why spend the extra money. This has everything 158 bolt, hpt & mpi, Shot Peened Bolt, and NiB coated. What am I missing?

One contributing factor in the price is that often the hpt and mpi testing is done by "batch" not each individual bolt. This changes the cost to the manufacturer significantly and the size of the batch can vary as well. Some of the high end ones (BCM for example) test each one and to some consumers that's important to them and they are willing to pay the difference.
