I have bought multiple from palmetto for under 500. Most recent was 11/17. The one they list here.

Of the 10 listed, 7 of them are either out of stock or selling for over $500.

That’s neat! I’ve got a bear creek in .223 Wylde, I’m gonna shove a 30 cal bullet in there and go to town!

U sure about thatt? Did u try it ive never shot a 30 cal
Thats pretty cool if it works. Most military rifles before the AR/m4 were 30 cal rifles i read alot of history books about guns. Glock for example 1980 was the first year they made a g17 . Sig was after a few yrs. Just fyi. Peply if that worked i might pop one through mine if u didnt hqve problems

I know this is for a complete rifle but I say go to Palmetto State Armory website. They always have a lower for $129.99 - - sometimes for less and often with free shipping. Buy one of their fully assembled uppers on sale (often also with free shipping). Pin them together and you're good to go for under $500. By doing it this way you can often choose between various barrel, furniture and other accessory options, if you're a little patient. Its an easy and enjoyable way to buy an AR at a reasonable price. Their products are excellent. Their shipping time and customer service are not so great.

Bear Creek Arsenal 7.62x39 ad copy states:
"Chambered for .223 Wylde which accommodates standard 7.62x39 rounds."
Neat.
