Upper internals or lower? I’ve seen both in stock in a bunch of places
Lower internals. I have been looking for 2 or 3 months. The only time I see them they're running about $150 and don't include the locking block.
The locking block should come with the ss80
How difficult are these to finish? say compared to an 80% AR15 lower? Can they be done without expensive or complicated machining? Do them with basic tools like a drill or drill press and maybe a dremel? Truly curious as Id like to try my hand at one. Would it be better to buy one with a jig included?
Buy one with a jig or get the jig.. Almost all Polymer 80 come with that. You need the jig to align holes. Read and follow directions, may need to download for some online. Important to mount jigs as they say etc.... can easily finish with a hand drill and using a Dremel and a couple files.... just need to take time and watch what you are doing
Damn I really want this, I have a 17 and 19 I built. Came out smOove. But these reviews aren’t good, and these builds are not cheap.

Read the Brownells reviews before you buy this. My experience with this model frame is the same as those voiced at Brownells - this version is just defective and takes A LOT of extra time to fix the factory defects and actually make it reliable. This one is even worse than the Large frame version (for Glock 45ACP) which has a significant molding defect the does not allow the ejector to seat correctly or the rear rail pin to line up with the holes. Neither of these frame versions are ready for prime time. Just my 2 cents worth.
If only there was a parts kit somewhere. I have 5 sitting at home waiting for internals
