Description

The Polymer 80 PFS9 Complete Pistol is built around their enhanced full size frame. It features an improved ergonomic grip that is more vertical and arguably more comfortable than the standard Glock 17 frame. The Glock 17 compatible P80 frame is made from reinforced black polymer with an aggressive grip texture perfect for gloved use. Additionally, it has a high undercut beneath the trigger allowing you to get a higher purchase for better recoil control and an extended beavertail to prevent slide bite. This is fully compatible with OEM Glock 17/22 Gen 3 parts. However, it features a standard picatinny rail for light compatibility at the expense of holster compatibility and is not guaranteed to fit in some G17 holsters. A slight bevel on the magazine well aids in reloads and is still compatible with the Magpul magwells for an even deeper flare. The P80 PFS9 complete 9mm pistol comes with everything you want.
Features:
- Glock 17 magazine compatibility
- Improved grip angle and texture
- Black polymer frame
- Undercut trigger guard and extended beavertail
- Picatinny light rail
- Flared magwell
- Steel slide with Nitride finish
- Front and rear slide serrations
- Steel sights
The Polymer 80 PFS9 Complete Slide is built out of quality materials. The steel slide features front and rear serrations and a durable black Nitride finish. The 9mm barrel also features a black Nitride finish and fits perfectly within the slide. No need to worry about fitment issues either as each part is made to the correct dimensions for optimal compatibility.

I’ve built a couple. They will run like a sewing machine if you take your time and smooth it all out. Various grit sandpaper (up to 2000) along with WD40 really finishes it all up and blends nicely. The barrel channel is probably the hardest part, but not if you slow down and ease into it by watching a lot of videos and getting the right tools. People say 1.5 hours, but more like 4-6 on my lowers.

What do they mean by 80% complete? It looks a 100% complete to me, i’m confused?

What is the reason and or advantage of buying these "completed" 80% pistols? I thought the reason for 80% lowers are so you can finish the pistol yourself and not ask mother goverment, "May I"? Are these superior to an original Glock pistol? Just curious?

I have the g19 sized one and love it. Basically the benefit is a better grip angle, a standard 1913 rail instead of glocks proprietary one and it has a double undercut trigger guard. I bought mine as a complete frame and transferred my slide and parts from my gen 3 glock 19 and voila I now have a semi custom od green frame that IMHO feels alot better to shoot than the stock gun.

But Livinitup is asking, what is the purpose of buying one of these already completed? Primary Arms is selling these 100% completed, meaning an FFL is needed.
