Well, it was a good deal. After I placed my order, I saw it was backordered, then Cabela's quietly cancelled my order. Sadface.

I'm in for 200 at this price. With the discounted Cabelas gift cards through Raise, it's even cheaper.

$7.97... went all the way to checkout.

That's for the 62 grain. The 55gr was $5. Ordered 500 rounds.

Ah, thanks. They must be out. There's no bullet weight option.

bought a stack. any wagers on what makes it to us? maybe .223 instead or some off branded shit, this is not normal for cabelas and feels like an F up.

Good deal! Probably going to pay tax though so expect that to factor into the price. I have been impressed by this ammo in the past its Korean and very clean.

I ordered 10 boxes for 53$ shipped. not bad.

This is a good deal. .25 cents per round is a good price for decent brass cased 5.56. The deal is even better if you have an $80 for $100 SVM Cablelas gift card.

wow 50cent/rd, i remember buying these for 30cent/rd. i guess i stay with steel case tula 27cent/rd for now. this is 2 can of soda shot down the range every time you fire :)

It is highly likely that I've been in the shooting and purchasing ammo business a little longer than you and certainly have been using gun.deals longer than you. I shop three local businesses in my town and all three have XTAC at this price and American Eagle a little cheaper. gun.deals advertises as the "best deals" on guns and ammo. Unfortunately a few inexperienced users have decided to clutter up the site with "non-deals" such as this one.

Wow, same price at my LGS. Hardly something to post on gun.deals.

Then post a better deal instead of stating that you can get it for the same price in your backyard. Seems like a decent online deal to me. Maybe my LGS doesn't carry this stuff or I don't want to give the rude bastard my business or it's more expensive where I live. I appreciate the options.

You have your opinion and I have mine. Mine is based on fact so no need for conflict. gun.deals is for the "best deals" and not everyday prices.

I'm not looking for conflict... I just saying that if you have a better online deal, then post it instead of bashing those that do make posts. This is an online site for online deals, not deals at your LGS that are inaccessible to anyone else here.

Yeah... this isn't a fantastic deal, but it isn't terrible either. Most everything else I see that has been cheaper in the last 24 hours has been either steel or remanufactured. The extra few cents may be countered by free in-store pickup or Cabela's $5 flat rate shipping... plus earning some points to use towards a future purchase.

I like options. It's nice to know this is here in case I don't get in on the better deals that sell out in 2 minutes. I appreciate that this guy is participating in the community because he might have a killer deal to post next time... if we don't tell him he's a useless bastard for posting this time.

I cant post deals....maybe this guy can't either. I regularly find better deals and when I post them they don't show up......not sure why, but its a big loss to the gun.deals community when people aren't allowed to post deals......ironic actually.

He has posted deals before so I assume he can post them now. Have you reviewed the FAQ regarding posting deals? Submitted posts are reviewed by the site admins... if the company referenced is questionable or the user submitting the deal is new (ding ding), then the submission may not be posted.

The issue is that on a high number of deals that are posted here, especially ammo deals, someone feels it necessary to comment that either A) This isn't a deal according to [insert your date here] pricing standards... B) My LGS / Walmart / [any other store where you can't buy online] has this for the same price or cheaper... or C) I get this for half the price delivered to my door all day long [Mysterious source of this happy ammo wonderland is withheld because it probably doesn't exist}.

I'm just asking people to post good deals if they have them... or shut the hell up if they don't (or want to hoard them for themselves).

Yes, I have posted "deals" before and recognize a decent one. I also recognize when vendors post or have someone post a shabby deal. If you want to pay too much for 5.56 which is not in short supply now then go ahead. There's plenty of it so I'm not likely to "hoard" it.

Yeah. I understand. I was going to post an introductory deal on CMT BIllet Uppers for $189....but it wont let me post. Was only for the first 100, so the deal will be gone soon...but I got a couple which is cool.

$189 isnt exactly a slick deal. My 2 cents, $149 next door
