Ive never had a membership and never will. But i believe every word you wrote! I also never refer to Cheaper than dirt as such. I always say "lower than Dirt" because of their gouging back in 13'. They can go pull on themselves! Along with their un-American, uninformed customer base.

He did say newb, that meant "new to thinking" also! Heh heh

I used to deal with Sportsman's Guide and was a big proponent until they screwed me over and repeatedly lied to me about the reason why. Giving me no less than 4 different reasons of which none were the truth. Now with them having raised the annual membership from $20 to $40 per year, I don't buy from them anymore.

They usually never have the best pricing unless you are a member and they have some shady practices you aren't aware of until you get caught up in them. You can't tell it because of the way SG dominates the listings, but there are other vendors that have better deals than SG even at member's pricing.

For example I just ordered a few days ago from PSA a 1000 rounds of the exact same ammo for $349.50 plus $26 shipping to Tampa for a total of $375.50...no membership fee required.

I am a loyal customer until a vendor jerks me around and lies to me. I just wish there was a way to filter out vendors on this website. I would prefer not to see any ads from certain vendors like Sportsman's Guide and Cheaper than Dirt. SG dominates this site so much anymore it is like gun.deals has become an extension of SG's website.

Because of this, I find more of my actual purchases are from emailed specials from the vendors that I prefer on this website, rather than from this website any more. Too many paid ads anymore rather than user posted adds like it used to be. I guess it is what it is and I am sure there are still loyal membership holders of SG that feel differently.

500 rounds is cheaper per round than 1000 rounds.

That makes a lot of sense.

Let me guess "Backorderable". Would never buy another item from this vendor. You will never know when you may or may not get it.

Now I remember why I don't buy from Sportsman's Guide anymore. I placed an order this morning when it was in stock and just received an email that it's on backorder until November. Lame as always!

Strange.....i've ordered 3 times in the last month and never received such an email.
The trick is too buy a case......its the last part of their deals to sell out.
Free shipping as well.......and got 16 bucks off my last order for updating my membership.
Unbeatable..... :)

They were under $350 per case pre panic. Still a little ways to go but we're getting there.

Those of us with 1/7 twists who've been waiting for 62gr below 40cpr here it is...

Who can argue 1000 rounds of it shipped for $390?

Thanks for a legitimate posting.
