Remember whe you could buy 1000 rounds for under $300. You should because it wasn't that long ago. :-( still a good deal for the current market

Be careful with your passwords and credit card info with Target Sports USA.

A number of times, especially on weekends, their site crashes and dumps connection info into the browser. This can be used by miscreants to hack into their server. These crashes, including displaying their server paths and account user names has happened to me several times.

Just recommending not to save anything important on their site and be careful.

This is a good deal. I paid 380 for this not too long ago.

Cheapest brass I've come across.

349.50 + 5.14 insurance = 354.57 to my door.

But only barely. For $25 more shipped you can get 1000rds of 62gr brass on another SG deal.

This is 370.89 to my door (345 before shipping), but it's steel, so I can't use this at my range.

Good buy compared to the PMC, If you're looking for 62 grain steel. Would only cost me another $16 to get this.

That is the deal I was referring to. Look again... that's not steel. It's brass.

Anyone know if this ammo has a bimetal bullet jacket? Not the casing, the jacket.

PMC says their bullet "...a lead core bullet enclosed in a heavy copper jacket." Copper is not a bi-metal, so what were you asking? There really is no such thing as "Bi-metal"; it is called an alloy... ( ie, like Bronze is an alloy of Copper and Tin). Hope this helps, Regards!

A bimetal jacket on a bullet actually isn't an alloy, it's three layers of metal: copper, mild steel, and then copper again on the outside, with a lead core.

Here's an actual photo of a sectioned bullet:

You did answer my question either way, PMC says this is copper-jacketed, which is what I was hoping.

Good read; http://www.uspsa.org/front-sight-magazine-article.php?Should-I-Buy-BiMetal-Ammo-8...

Steel jacketed w/ copper plate or wash over top of it. and too thin to protect the riflings... ouch.

$419 shipped to socal, you west coast guys who were quoted over.$50 shipping, need to check the actual total, not the shipping estimate. My estimate was $55, ended up being $39. Not a great deal, but I desperately needed the ammo for vacation.

Nah, Tahoe, lol... Gonna spend a day at the range, was hoping to not have to shoot steel cased.

Shipping to N. Florida is 38.57 which blew it for me. No way I'm paying nearly .42/rd. for 55 gr. PMC. I would do .35-.38 after shipping, not before shipping. This seems like a price for PMC 62 gr. LAP & even then too expensive after researching prices from a year or so ago.

The shipping is out of this world. 35.00 to my address. I just received 1000 rounds from Sportsman's Guide and I had a free shipping code. But even if I didn't the shipping would have only been 19.99.

Shipping to MO is $42

Good to see prices slowly creeping down, though. Just going to wait it out until I can find something that is an actual deal.

Shipping to Dallas is $44.24. Is that too much? I've never ordered a case w/ shipping.

Yes it's high, last month I paid 18 for a case of 1000 shipped. From SGammo

sounds a bit high....but look at it as 380+44 for $424 total or 42.4 cents a round which is not horrible

With $40 for shipping it kind of kills it for me, but prices look like are getting a little better than a few weeks ago.
