Can confirm Sportman's Guide is horrible, a complete scam. The only thing I ever ordered from them was something like 350 rounds of Silver Bear hollow point, which they claimed was "in stock" only to be told after I ordered that the item was on extended backorder for which I continually had to keep confirming I still wanted what I ordered. At some point, I just said bunk it and cancelled. I still have to go back and make sure they didn't charge my credit card or that they actually reversed that charge. Practically ANYONE but SG, they should be sued out of business.

I have purchased 4 guns through them in the last year. All were shipped and in great condition. I have about 15 multiple-item orders fulfilled by them in the last five years. Only one item cancelled, a gun cabinet. The only other problem I had was they charged me for Auto-renew even though I checked (or unchecked) for them not to. One call fixed the problem. But I have read this has happened to others as well.

Never buy from SG. They use all sorts of stupid tricks to make it look like a low price. 1) you have to join their buyers club. That often means that the item is out of stock and won't be in stock before the trial period of the buyer club ends. So you're stuck without the thing you ordered but still paid for their buyers club. 2) They will sell things out of stock that requires MONTHS of continuing to answer emails saying "yeah I still want what I ordered". 3) They can still cancel your order and just relist the item at a higher price. 4) Sometimes they will overcharge you despite what your order confirmation says. I had to chargeback 5 orders from them for doing this crap.

Don't order from SG. They're a shady company and you're not going to get your item anytime soon anyway. Buy from anywhere else and you'll actually get your item without having the hassle of an auto-renewing "premium account." Just google SG problems. Most people have had a problem with SG in one form or another.

Love SG AND GUN.DEALS! Get the alert go to the link and always get what I need , yes you have to be speedy with the CC cuz there’s a lot of people that get the same alert...

This company is the pits, says I have saved $86.68 but I have NEVER received any order. All orders have been delayed to the point they cancelled or I did, I don't believe they really have any of the product in stock when posted.
I also blame "GUN.DEALS" as I have complained about the HORIABLE performance and the response was "oh well...we are not going to debar them from advertising". Everyone needs to report them to gun deals.

Swore I'd never sign up again, but I broke down and did the short membership just to get this. I selected NO AUTO RENEW. Guess what happened? $50 charge appeared on my cc today!! No email giving notice, nope. Just sneaky AF slimy move. Stay away from these a$$holes!! I finally learned my lesson.

Sportsman’s Guide has really stepped up to squeeze their customers... now they charge a $10 for “heavy bulky charges” AND they charge your state taxes PLUS shipping TAXES!!! So buyer beware!!! It’s NOT worth it anymore and I’ve been a member for years

I ordered a Eotech from them 3/26/2020 I still haven’t received it, that’s the only reason I haven’t bought more items from them.

Ordered mine a week ago. Shipped within two days, confirmation included tracking number with estimated arrival. Two days ago status changed from "shipped" to "expected to ship May 1st."

Won't be surprised if it's on backorder for eight months just like my ammo orders.

Honestly the only drum mag that functions correctly 100% of the time and is easy to load. But I've always questioned how well it would hold up if you had to hit the dirt and smacked it on the ground fully loaded.

Who buys these things?

Two $8 pmags taped together are far cheaper, less complex, and more reliable.

Count ME IN ALSO! I bought this beauty of a beast on the great promo at $92. And change shipped! Are you kidding me -this thing is so sick! 60 non stop at the range or for bug outs! LMAO

Me....Let me dump on you with 60 non-stop rounds w/o having to change a damn thing and you'll get the picture.
I use my p-mags almost all of the time, but this has its place in my safe for SHTF...and you are stretching the truth
saying they are 8$ Pmags - they are typically 12$ or more unless you buy on sale or in bulk.

^^^ This guy dumps on people and takes pictures, watch out. Truly a dirty dawg indeed

buygunstuff.com says hello. Even in the corona virus induced panic they only charge $8 for gen2 Pmags- a slight increase from the $7.XX they normally charge.

The D-60 is more compact than two taped mags and doesn’t require a mag change to access the next 30 rounds. Mag changes for most people are slow and can add a second or two or more to a two/three gun match time or induce a malfunction not inserting the second mag all the way under stress. Same applies to defensive use.

Compact? They don't fit into pockets like 30rnd mags do. And if they jam, it would be much easier to drop and forget a cheaper mag than this thing. Not to mention about 10X the price. More cons thsn pros. Even if you only had a single cheap mag, less working parts. Easier to clear/fix the problem. You jam a round in the middle of this thing, good luck.

D60 is meant to be your initial magazine, not something you reload to.

^^^^This. Still, hard to throw a $100 mag on the ground & walk (or run) away when it's empty because it doesn't *fit* in anything. [One of the big drawbacks to drum mags; regardless of whether empty or loaded, they're a nuisance to lug around. From what I hear, the other big drawback is the rattling noise made when loaded & on the march.]

You are never going to be in the situation you described with this mag. Quit pretending we’re anything more than some weekend range warriors.

saintedd understands. Buy two 40rd mags and work on your aim. You wont even need the extra 20rds on the D-60
