It’s called “Dicks” for a reason. And none of us should patronize them.

Sam's club has these for $30 or $40, don't remember but I bought 2. It's the 108qt and the 64qt inside it. So you get 2.

Can you put the ammo cans in there?

The bottom 'shell' of this model is definitely very flexy. When the lid is on, however, it is quite rigid. Enough for both of my boys to stand on (about 240lbs today).

Lower price from Academy at $26.99 w/ free shipping. This Amazon deal isn't even really $31.21 because there will be tax on top, whereas Academy charges no tax for most states.

Are they weather proof? (Water proof)

It seems to be weather resistant because of the grooves where the lid closes down, but is not water proof. If you submerged the trunk, water would get inside.

These are excellent as long as you get the this model number, they stack as high as you want and have roller wheels on one side Highlyrecommended for prepper supplies or anything you want to keep nice.

Plano makes thin, cheap crap!

Totally wrong these are very heavy duty I own many and these are equal to or better than some military grade storage I've seen. Why make a comment on something you know nothing about...

I own the black ones. They are very thin and you can't pack too much inside or stack them. This one is gray and the plastic is very thick. You can stand on top of them, they are that strong.

Black Green Grey doesn't matter its the model that matter i have all colors and they are solid as a rock!

I own a different model that looks the same as this, but it's thin. I was guessing that jghocutt was taking about the 'Plano Molding 1819 XXL Storage Box'. It's the thinner version with a hinge on the long side.

I believe it is different. I also was wondering if it was the same as the ones I got at Academy for $20 for my camping stuff... Don't actually think it is. Those are hinged and thin plastic. This looks like the lid comes off and I would assume is a heavier plastic but haven't seen one in person.

It _was_ a lightning deal, now expired. When I first saw this posting, it was at 99% claimed.
