Put a fun new twist on plinking and target shooting with tracer ammunition. This non corrosive, high-velocity .22 Long Rifle ammunition produces a bright tracer trail of approximately 150 yards. Since the trail is visible day or night, it provides a clear view of the bullet’s trajectory, flight path and impact point. It also makes great practice ammo as it allows you to track the exact path of the bullet, helping you to understand its dynamics. This quality ammunition will not damage your firearm. This ammunition will function in all firearms, but the tracer will not ignite consistently in all handguns; it is designed primarily for rifles. Per 50. Made in USA.

This is an OLD AD. There was a fire a couple yrs ago at the source plant with the owner getting severely burned. (Google Piney Mountain fire Cleveland). They lost a lot of money on this and they didn't rebuild. There's no sense in supplying your credit info to their processors because you'll probably lose out. This ad needs to be taken down.

breaks my heart reading these comments from 2013... $165/500 vs $220/500.

I bought four boxes of Piney Mountain .22 LR Tracers in Green--different color, same maker, and was fun for five rounds. Round # 6 was a squib that got stuck in my barrel. This could have ruined a lot more than a day at the range. Not worth it--Don't buy!

I have shot a lot of this ammunition. It is pricey and has trouble feeding in to semiautomatics. I will say that right now, it is frustrating in a semi auto because the lead bullets are not cast consistently. Last time I bought it at KCR off a vendor it was $165/500. Traces well, but too inconsistent.

I have not had any problems with feeding in either my MP15/22 or my 10/22. Wonder if you got a bad batch or I got a good one. I did only shoot 250 rounds of it. I don't recall my friend having any problems with it either. I will probably buy some more someday if it comes back down to the $150/500 range. Will see if another batch does well or bad and report back someday....

The price on this stuff is really outrageous but I have to admit, it is pretty fun stuff. I bought some a while back and split it with a friend. It is very bright! Much brighter than the 5.56 lake city tracers. I presume because it is traveling at about 1/3 the speed it is much more visible. It really appears about x3 or more brighter than the 5.56. It traces out about 150 or so yards and seems to light up almost right out of the barrel. I would like to see it at about half the price, hoping it will come down someday.
