too bad i dont have a store near me , nice fun pistol to shoot ...
Don’t they ship? I am thinking of getting one but I don’t know much about them. I know you get what you pay for but this would just be for fun as long as it runs pretty smooth.
Unlike the Heritage this pistol has a steel frame. It is all steel. It is a large frame pistol and looks and feels like a 45 Colt. It would compare to the Ruger Single Six 10 shot for less than half the price. The firearm shown is the shorter barrel which is ten dollars more.
I was all excited until I realized this is just a .22LR.
It has a 10-shot cylinder, so that's cool.
But the cylinder flutes are for a 6 shot .45. So you’ve got fake flutes and some cartridges are closer to the outside of the cylinder than others and when at full cock the flutes don’t always line up with the barrel
Any 1873 .22 is still a cool gun. I wonder how close the frame is to full size rather than the small frame of most like the Heritage and such. 'Cause you could almost get two Rough Riders for this price and then, when seeing double, "I have two guns, one for each of you."
I would really like one of these pistols with an interchangeable cylinder from 22 LR to 22 mag, any ideas?
