Best $100 firearm I have bought. Miles ahead of the davidson/cobra ca/fs series and hipoints run fine but are three times as big its like comparing apples and oranges. There is just something i find fun about a cheap gun that will run. my biggest complaint is the double safeties. at the range i just use the hammer block. I hear the 22lr have feeding issues but I have only had one failure to feed with the 25 out of about 250 rounds(the first time i shot it the 2nd round hung up) will probably buy a 2nd at this price. my 2 cents.

Why anyone would buy any gun in .25 is beyond me. The ammo is extremely pricey for what it is and it is probably the least effective round widely available.

Super fun to shoot, more reliable than my Ruger. I have the kit with both barrels and the longer one is pretty damn accurate. I'm glad I got it and would def recommend it in 22lr

I had the 22LR version of this gun. It was more reliable than my Walther p22 and reasonably accurate.

I'm kind of surprised to see this getting so many upvotes. Anyone want to fill me in on this gun?

I have one in .22LR. Wasn't very reliable until I polished feedramps. Accuracy (for me) is horrible past 10 yards or so. It's a fun plinker, though.

Disassembly and reassembly isn't too bad. Learn the trick of using the slide/barrel unit as a way to hold down the recoil spring when putting it back together. Youtube has a bunch of videos.

A few minutes to remove some of the burrs and they will run great. Mine will eat any ammo I put in it. I keep one in my car with some ammo locked up so any time I feel like it, I can stop by a range and do some plinking. Don't have to be paranoid about the gun getting banged around or rusting.

They are nothing fancy, but can be a blast. I got the longer barrel for mine and it's actually quite accurate at plinking distances. I've got probably 2K rounds through one of mine. Worth every penny, plus they have a lifetime warranty and will send you replacement parts no questions asked.

All the snobs it's funny . They are decent they go bang what you want for 100 bucks . And yes I have one in .22 and Glocks and other so called high end guns so I can speak from experience

Neither are obscure. It's a "Saturday Night Special" - a super cheap, easily concealable gun. Most were banned from import in 1968 so there became a US manufacturing market known collectively as "The Ring of Fire". A Frontline report states "Phoenix Arms is estimated to be able to produce its .25 ACP Model Raven for only $19 per unit".

It's a cheap, crappy gun, but people like $100 guns. Thus the upvotes.

ETA. I thought I hit "reply". This was meant to go under nmil's comment.
