I agree, I have a couple of these and they are great shooters, especially for the price. Some lump these guns into the "junk gun" category, but certainly they are not. Cheap, yes. Junk, no. Excellent quality, no, but for the price, very decent.
This is a great deal for the five-inch version.
This product has a six-round magazine. An aftermarket ten-round extended mag is available. Find it on Google. Why, why, why, this product ALWAYS boasts ten rounds as standard is far beyond my apparently limited scope of comprehension.
mine came standard with 10 rounds (black, 3" barrel)
Thanks for responding. My buddy in GA, got his Range Kit in Satin finish and his mag holds six. He felt cheated when I told him it specs for ten rounds. He purchased from a place with a name starting with a 'B'. About all I know.
That's strange. I own two of these and have 6 mags and they are all 10 rounders. Ive bought and sold on ebay proably 10 extra mags, they were all 10 rounders as well. Ive never seen a 6 round mag for sale anywhere for one of these, nor on the Phoenix Arms website.
These are a lot of fun, by the way. Just for plinking, they are accurate and reliable (mine likes Remington subsonic, although Ive never had issues with any ammo ive tried)
Don't shoot the real high velocity stuff in these, they aren't made to hold up to it. If you insist on it, buy some of the little recoil buffer pads off ebay and it will extend the life of the parts a bit. I guess the frames tend to crack if you shoot a lot of HV ammo.
Im not a big fan of nickel or silver colored guns, but I have one of each of these and it's MUCH easier to see the sights on it than on the black one. I guess you could always paint the front sight.
Hope that helps anyone thinking about buying one of these. IMO they are worth the money, plus have a lifetime warranty...
