Saw a review where these failed pretty miserably when put through drop tests on two separate occasions. ANybody know if there was a updated revision?
I would pay sightly more for a 2 extra rounds and metal feed lips but 50 percent more I think not. Also, if you are ready so worried about 922r compliance, detachable magazines seem like a really odd place to come to spec. Unless you throw away all your factory mags you are just one mag swap away from a federal offense. Again, that is if 922r compliance is on your radar. There are probably 500,000 SKS's and AK's alone that have been accidentally modified to violate the law and I really doubt the feds are going to start doing metallurgical analysis on firing pins and triggers to make sure they come from 'local' mines.
Note: I am not slamming this product at all and have heard very positive things to their preproduction models. Hopefully when the newness wears off they drop some in price.
