Every time I see this come around, I mentally have the picture of the DeWalt AR 15 someone made a few years ago.

You do realize 'less than lethal' is normally reserved for situations where lethal force would get YOU charged with a crime? Such as those two nut job millionaires pointing guns at non-violent people walking down the street? If either of them pulled the trigger the sentence would have been 20 to life.

P.S. please don't come at me with "a gate was damaged." That is not justifiable for use of deadly force.

You truly are an idiot. Quit watching CNN, boy. Anyone or a group of people who are on MY property after breaking through my gate will get a gun pointed at them and told to leave, immediately. You can hear the guy telling them to leave. They do not. They are not 'walking down a street. They are on posted PRIVATE PROPERTY. Don't spread fake news CNN BOY. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByasOe6LIAI...

They were stupid because of their posture and gun etiquette, but I'm not going to slight them for reacting to a mob going by their house. These days an awful lot of "protests" are turning into riots, and police don't seem to be on call much more. Sure know I would want more than this "less than lethal" toy should things turn violent.

Agreed that I would not want this against a actual riot but you are suggesting to prepare for a hypothetical protest turning hypothetically into a riot. Might as well fantasize about them being undead Spetsnaz ninjas and prepare accordingly.

FYI, if 30 people are outside your house and you feel in danger, unless you have a M249 or greater, it might be wise to stay in your much more defensible building.

Have you not watched the news? I'm not talking about the spin, but the actual violence towards people of dissenting views and their property? Even toward innocent bystanders. The problem with this "movement" is that there is no discernible hierarchy of authority, which has led to riots at the hands people that cannot be easily distinguished from the "protesters". My downtown is a wreck and the police didn't do shit, so I have little faith that they will protect me. Thinking that chaos can't spill over would be a stance of someone that doesn't remember history.

From experience i know how the simple defensive presence of a weapon causes people to have second thoughts about trying to commit crime. I'm not going to go to the street to fuck with them, but don't mind me while while I clean some of my armory on the front porch. In the immortal words of Lil' John "don't start no shit, wont be no shit".

Yes I have watched the news and also know that many of the violence and looting has been done by Alt Right groups PRETENDING to be linked with Antifa or BLM. They are doing this to discredit the real cause and it seems to be working. This happening all over the country.

Note, I am really glad you mentioned these groups have "no discernible hierarchy of authority" as opposed to what most of the pundits and orange man are claiming.

I'm not going to pretend that it's just the alt right that's participating in the riots, that or they've got a lot more inclusive recently. I also don't seem to remember Raz from CHAZ being particularly right leaning either. If it was just a bunch of white supremacists causing the violence, why are the mayors lamenting Trumps federal intervention?

Either they need to create a cohesive vision for a rational ideal of what they want and a peaceful method of achieving it, or they should expect the general populous to tire of their objections and expect force to quell their tantrum. That and these motherfuckers need to back off Terry Crews.

The reason Mayors are "lamenting" Trump's federal intervention:
-Weren't asked for.
-Questionable authority to even arrest / charge people being they are not local PD nor were they a response to any request for aid (see above).
-The federal shock troops are running around attacking PEACEFUL protests and / or inciting PEACEFUL protests to violence. Destroying first aid stations, vandalizing businesses that are allowing protesters to flee tear gas, oh and teargassing lawful assemblies.
-Why are they showing up in unmarked cars, with no name badges, arresting people without charges???

Why aren't they doing the same thing to the 'reopen' marches or Nazi rallies when half the people are carrying AR's with body armor? Either this is politically motivated or they are scared someone might shoot back.

This isn't communist China....not yet at least.

I'll give you that they might be targeting "peaceful" protesters, maybe. But if there were as many alt boogeymen as you say, shouldn't they be showing up on arrest records? Or is that a part of the great trump conspiracy too?

I've yet to see a reopen march where wanton destruction was the end result. Seems odd with all those boogs with ar's and armor that are causing all the terror at a blm event.

The 'alt boogeymen' ARE showing up on the arrest records.

Richmond's MAYOR *thanked" BLM protesters for turning in these boogeymen.

So AN indecent in Richmond means that all the riots are instigated by boogs? Didn't seem like there were many of them in Chicago on the mile last night...

0 votes

Of course it doesn't mean ALL riots are instigated or containing members of the alt right but shows that there are verifiable cases of them attempting to cause negative press by pretending to be part of BLM or antifa while instigating violence and destruction. Funny, how some people require ZERO proof of the evil antifa (that no one has ever seen or heard) or a massive conspiracy from the left to 'take our' but expect notarized confessions from a bunch of Neo Nazi's to believe they do not have the best intentions at heart?

I guess this is the problem with the right to protest and free speach, you're not required to register your political affiliation. If your activism is so easily hacked by the opposition, you'd think it'd be time to rethink your structure and planning. This isn't the civil rights movement, it's a bunch of fractured grievance artists that can't articulately express what they want, let alone a realistic way to get it. I don't believe that people that want to defund the police have my best intentions at heart either.

Suggesting the entire group, who you admit has no structure, however somehow unanimously wants to "defund the police" shows you have no understanding of the topic at hand. By the way, it is clear you have never been to a protest or public demonstration being there is no system of knowing the actual political ideology or motivation of strangers when attending a group rally. Especially when, again you admit, there is no centralized command structure. Would you blame the tea party if a bunch of "antifia" rebels show up unannounced? If so how would you prevent such an occurrence? Aren't Trump rallies constantly invaded, err "hacked" by dissenters? Does their appearance invalidate the event? You are literally holding two groups to different standards.

If the defund the police mantra isn't fundamental to the movement, then why are so many large cities trying to bend over backwards to do it? Seems like a pretty consistent theme, even with a fragmented power structure. Their lack of unifies political ideology or motivation is base to a beginning grass roots org, but is something that the movement could have evolved past over the past 7 years, and I'm done buying the plethora idiotic stances presented as the "(un)offical" mantra. Maybe it's media's fault, but I'm over it until they stop woking on voices of reason. I really don't care with who is, or isn't, showing up at other rallies, just what happens afterward. Not too many riots after a t party shindig, reopen protest, or ill attended trump rally. Might have more to say about them if they did.

-If the defund the police mantra isn't fundamental to the movement, then why are so many large cities trying to bend over backwards to do it?

Aren’t you the guy who claimed there was no movement? Trying hard to keep up with the changing narrative. You blame a group you admit has no structure for the result of its combined effort? BTW, “Defund” doesn’t mean “get rid of” or “obliterate.”

BTW, are you really blaming the movement you claim doesn’t have structure on the actions of random municipalities????

-Seems like a pretty consistent theme, even with a fragmented power structure.

You said there was no structure yet there is a “consistent theme?”

-Their lack of unifies political ideology or motivation is base to a beginning grass roots org, but is something that the movement could have evolved past over the past 7 years, and I'm done buying the
plethora idiotic stances presented as the "(un)offical" mantra.

You contradicted yourself multiple times there. “Plethora” of stances but claiming a single “movement?” That would be like me linking the KKK, Tea Party, and fans of SpongeBob. Either they are or are not a single group. You can’t have it both ways in the same sentence.

-Maybe it's media's fault, but I'm over it until they stop woking on voices of reason.

Aka ‘until they echo my voice.’ LOL….

-I really don't care with who is, or isn't, showing up at other rallies, just what happens afterward. Not too many riots after a t party shindig, reopen protest, or ill attended trump rally. Might have more to say about them if they did.

Funny, only the nonviolent protests met will teargas ever turn violent. Odd how that works.

I never said it wasn't a movement, just not the civil rights movement. More like a bowel movement, loose, with little structure or etiquette, but it still exists. Kind of like diarrhea, may be hard to decipher the origins, but it's still shit. Ffs, you had one of the chicago organizers try and justify the looting as "reparations". Then today an aligned "professor" trying to claim 2+2=4 is white supremacist patriarchy. These are the dumb motherfuckers you're trying to defend?

There is technically a central leadership, Patrisse Khan-Cullors, Alicia Garza, Opal Tometi, and all of the heads of the chapters; they just don't know how to lead for shit. It's up to them to change the presentation and take ownership, and stop letting whatever wackjob represent them. I guess that's what happens in the village viral age. It's "defund the police"; not "reform the police", not "boost social services", not "lets replace the police with community leaders", not "lets stop the violence on our own streets", but "defund the police". Got that message loud and clear. They bring reason to the table, I might listen.

Not every riot started with tear gas, sorry. You seem to want to give any excuse for a group that can't seem to control it's behavior. Perhaps that's why they have poor interactions with police before.

The point's pretty simple, stop rioting and people might start taking you seriously and stop arming themselves against you. Showing that they have self control and can be reasoned with will help their cause, as well as discontinuing the woke nonsense. This isn't some elaborate trump/boog conspiracy, you're giving them too much credit.

Its not that bad, I mean if you are looking for non lethal stuff, in a big package then this is for you. Those magazines though! They are huge, reminds me of my childhood 24 round nerf magazines. We could measure our selves woth those. Plust it’s essentially a melee weapon if you run out of ammo!

these are not made for just standard civilian use. Looking at it that way is just ignorant. These are NOT just cheap paintball. guns. They are training tools as well as for folks like law enforcement, security teams, folks who have to deal with crowds of protestors or in situations where lethal force would not be justified. These have their place and use. Just like any other tool, quality is not cheap.

I believe tipman makes these and paintball guns. And No tipman makes high end semiautomatic paintball guns that actually function. I can remember ramping up the psi on my co2 tank to leave that extra special welt...good times

Tippmann literally manufactures all of Pepperball's arms. You're paying extra because Pepperball is the brand the popo uses. It's no different than paying more for a Colt AR. Colt isn't necessarily better. It's just the brand the troops use/used so it's "special".

Yep, there's no difference between Smith and Wesson and Taurus or HiPoint and SIG. Just buy whatever goes bang or in this case splat. Wonder if the paintball gun I paid $200 for is equal in quality to this. I'll be taking my P229 Legion to the range regardless of what people think. Make sure to buy practice rounds so you can be sure your pepperballs are on target.

I beg to differ sir. There are many differences between them when it comes to quality and functionality not to mention style, at least in my limited experience. There is absolutely no way ANY taurus compares to lets say my Kimber Custom II, my S&W Shield, my EMP or any of my Glocks. You get what you pay for.
YMMV.

So.
You're saying it's NOT 68 caliber which is the standard paintball diameter ?
You're saying it is NOT fed from a standard paintball hopper ?
You're saying it's NOT operated by pressurized air ?
It's a paintball gun....no matter how you dress that pig, it's still a pig.

it does NOT take a hopper, its mag fed. Yes runs on air. It has a canister option inside the buttstock or an option to run an external hi capacity air tank. .68 CAL pepper balls, rubber balls or ceramic coated steel balls...

2 votes

There may be a mag option, but both of the videos show hoppers. If this is the type of shit that police are wasting their money to "train" with, there might be some merit for defunding.

.68 caliber.
Takes a 'hopper'
Runs on pressurized air.
Yup, it's a glorified paint ball gun.
You can get a Tippmann for about a 1/3rd of the price and it's probably better quality. All you'd need is the pepper balls and that's not a difficult thing.

Meh, depends. In training we would shoot a bunch of pepperball into a room or an area (10ft high in trees) they MIGHT enter. That cloud lingers. Served as a good warning for us - hearing them hack and cough when they walked into a crowd.

We also learned the pepper balls had a baseball curve effect. You could literally shoot around corners.

They're a different tool for a different use. The fool who claims the posted product are "for training" is ignorant as most use would be with hoppers; 100ball count rather than 19.
