A+ rating seller, great price, what is wrong with the listing?
They have 22lr for cheaper than most as well as some other deals worthy of posting
This is what this gun should cost normally.
Had a friend buy one right when they came out for 569+ tax.
These guns are right in line with what RIA sells, not saying they are a bad buy, just nothing great.
Forgot to say thanks for the post though.. if I was a day quicker I'd have myself a nice $280 1911 :D
Sold out everywhere lol.. They said they had 70 yesterday.
It's worth calling if you haven't gotten one, but the chances are the whole country sold out of these things by now. I called every SW in my state lol
these were sold out in minutes. dont bother....
It's worth a shot.. they said they were allotted 70, and they had 5 left until 1pm today.. so if you're in a smaller area they could totally have stock left.
A great deal when it was down around $400....but not such a great deal at $500! FYI....
CDNN is cheaper on the stainless - and beware - Para is being reorganized and moving so if you end up having trouble with one you might have a hard time getting it fixed.
Is the Springfield 1911-A1 worth the additional $184?

Not in my opinion. Para and SA are comparable brands but you get a lot more bang for your buck w/ this model. For example, upgraded front sight, extended grip safety, hammer & trigger. If you want a A1 style (no frills) 1911 I'd save some $$$ and go with a RIA for under 4 w/o a rebate.
What is the price on this gun $399.98! Or $400+
This is now $401.89 AR. Somehow went from pulling the proverbial trigger at $399 to saying "meh" at $401.89.
Smoking deal! Wish I had 4 bills to spend.
Where is my tax refund... need me a secret pre-paid visa card for just such an occasion. Love this models features, like skeleton hammer and trigger parts, extended grip safety, magazine bumper and nice sights. I need me a new .45 too...
Orders mine yesterday. This will be my first 1911. Such a good deal!
Congrats! Plenty of vids on youtube on how to work on your 1911. Very simple design and super customizable.
Great deal. I bought mine for close to this (with another rebate) on Cyber Monday. LOVE this pistol. Reliable, accurate, well built, great service from Para (sent my slide in to get my sights upgraded).
Without a doubt the best deal I've seen on any 1911. I just ordered a stainless steel Para Expert from CDNN for $549 (+$12 shipping). After rebate, it will be around $450 for a stainless 1911 with fiberoptic front sight. Can't beat that. I already have an older parkerized Para Expert and it's a great, reliable pistol.
Is this a good deal? Any better than the ria 1911?
$44+ shipping? No thanks, I can find a Para elsewhere.
I bought one 2 months ago. I sent in the rebate immediately and I'm still waiting for a check. The status on the rebate website reads "We have received your submission and it is being processed." It's been at that status for a long time now so I don't expect to see anything soon.
I hate rebates, half the time you have to call the Better business bureau to get them to send your money. If they want people to buy the gun, just give them the discounted price right there
Roger that. I won't deal with Para like this again.
Rebate check arrived yesterday. This is how the process worked for me:
They sent an email indicating they received my rebate request approximately 3 weeks after I mailed it. After 2 months the website indicated that I will receive a "mailed response" and provided no verification that my request had been approved. Too much drama if you ask me, however, PARA can be trusted to come through in the end.
There is an online rebate registration process that may be quicker. However online registration requires you to tear off and send in the actual UPC. The mail in process just asks for a photo copy.

The stainless steel version was this price a few days ago
And my order was cancelled. Price was supposed to be after rebate price, not the selling price. Figures. Thought maybe they would still honor it.
I own the Para LTC and it is a great gun if that is any indicator of their quality. At this price it is basically a steal.
These have a cast frame, however, at this price it's still a good deal.
Yes. $454.98 with shipping showing in my shopping cart. The rebate is a mail in $100 off. On top of it!
So this is $430 from the site and then you get a $100 rebate?
Fixed Price $425.00
