Ordered one as well. I don't think you can beat this deal on a 1911 handsdown. I heard that these are blems because the engraving on the slide isn't deep enough to spec.
Hopefully mines come in ordered it on July 18, a little over a week and it's still pending (also I was already charge 599.99).
I wish I could take advantage of this. Held one of these and really liked it, I was surprised that it only felt slightly thicker than a single stack 1911
In for one, this is way to good to pass up. Fyi, the total is 599.00. There are no shipping charges, and no credit card charges either. Hopefully the blem is hard to see. Gun up is a great company.
Would u take this or a single stack sig or s&w for $200 more or taurus for $200 less
Para is on par with sig and smith in quality now, 10 years ago they lacked a bit in qc but I haven't seen a problematic gun from para in a long time, taurus is ok for the price but mine had a few issues that kept me from keeping it. Between this gun (and this price) and a single stack gun for 200 more, this is by far the better choice for me.
