Yes, their customer service sucks.
I bought a Para Expert 14.45 back in November of 2014. It does not eject live rounds and the beaver tail safety grip gets stuck. The first contact I made with Para was via email on December 14th, 2014. I did not get a response back until January 27th, 2015. I was asked for my contact information and the serial number of the pistol in question, which I replied to on January 28th, 2015.
I did not get a response so I sent out another email on February 8th, 2015, telling them that I was getting really bad customer service. On February 9th, 2015, I got an email asking if I wanted to send in the pistol to get it fixed, which I thought I made very clear that's what I wanted in the previous email. I replied the same day, saying yes I wanted to send it in to get it fixed and again sent in all the info they requested from the previous email.
February 16th, my phone rang twice, which didn't give me enough time to get to my phone, and no voice mail was left on my phone. I get an email 3 minutes after my phone rang saying, and I quote, "I have attemped to make contact with you sir on 2/16 . again i apologize for the delay. you may reach me at 256-327-2517 from 8 am-5 pm CST mon-fri, and i would be glad to adress and fix any issue you are having. Thanks Respectfully Justin Emerson."
By now Para should know the issues I'm having, which is poor customer service and a brand new defective Para Expert 14.45. I will not be purchasing anything from Para in the future.
DO NOT buy any firearms from Para unless you want the burden of buying a potentially unsafe and defective firearm.
Para has stopped replying to my emails and no response on their facebook page either.
I have heard they stink with service
