Buyer Beware! Bought the multi-cal OSS Helix back in February, ordered the extra 5.56 mount for an additional $100. The Helix and 7.62 mount arrived at my SOT with no problem, the 5.56 mount never showed. I have been calling Botach repeatedly trying to get the issue resolved without success. Customer service is absolute garbage. Just called my bank and disputed the charge.

So I bought this deal pre-Christmas, and it just arrived at my LGS today, March 21st. The other reviews are completely accurate. The customer service is exactly as described, ignored emails and voicemails. But... I got a pretty good deal on a can. It may be heavy as hell, but it'll do. Will update when I get to take it home, that'll probably be the same time you receive it from Botach if you order today.

Yes, I Concur. FedEx screwed up my delivery. I've been on the phone with BoTach, daily to get my order straighten out. They are great customer service ONLY If you GET A HOLD of them.
It is that heavy for the part suppressor? I'm thinking of getting the one piece - Helix 762...

Ordered 4 rifles from Botach ad Two OSS suppressors bottom line their customer service is a joke. They will not return phone calls or emails. They will not verify if they receive your ffl. They list product as in stock which arent. Took a call to manufacturer, BATFE, and BBB to get them to ship them. They arrived Ok but these are the guys the movies War Dogs was based on they are unapologetic. So you can get a good deal but it will take for ever and takes constant vigilance.

Rice krispy I use to love to get people like you when they first enlisted. After reading what you’ve said to other people on here, makes me wish I was still in the Corp...as others have told you, you might want to keep your mouth shut about items you have no clue about!

Rice krispy you are a completely idiot! Just keep your mouth shut because it’s obvious you have no clue as to what you are talking about!

If I were to buy one of these where would I go to do the tax stamp ?

You have to do all the paperwork by yourself, which isn’t hard. It took 5 months for my SilencerCo Hybrid to by in my hands. It’s worth the wait.

Very attractive silencer. Beautiful paint and terrific fit and finish. Sleek design kept me coming back round after quiet round.

I've always had great experience. they even went above and beyond when I bought a holosun sight that was out of stock. They ended up upgrading me to next model up no questions asked. I didn't have to call or anything. Most companies would have just canceled my order... They are awesome!! I've seen the reviews as well but over the last 1.5 years of using them they've been stellar. Heck I ordered a 6 pack of lancer mags a couple weeks ago and I had them in 3 days when every other online retailer was taking at least a week with holidays. That was quick even for them but shows they are on their shit.

Anyone has good experiences with BoTach?
Did a little digging and saw horrible reviews on them. I don’t want to get stuck with them on class 3 items or losing out the great deal on OSS. As many of you aware the paperwork and time is long.
Thanks in advance.

Had five different orders with them going back what feels like a decade and Botach completely shat the bed in two of those transactions. They just never filled the order nor eventually contacted said it was cancelled... If that sounds brutal know I would actually order again if a deal looked good. because if they have the item and everything is ok then its at your house in a couple days. If anything goes wrong, some delay, back-order, mistake, whatever, botach just cannot handle it. Knowing that, and also reading about OSS, I'd look at another suppressor and seller.

I am currently dealing with Botach. I ordered my suppressor from them a month ago. I corresponded with one of their reps via email, and the guy assured me the suppressor would be sent that week. The FFL store they were supposed to send it to never received the package. I have tried contacting Botach 5 times, and have not received anything from them.

You do realize it can take up to 6 months to get your stamp right??

Yeah, well aware of that. The principle of this topic/comment is the fact that they are not following through with what they say they will do. Along with that, they still have not made contact with me. Regardless of the timeframe of a tax stamp, they still should be providing better service than this.

I have ordered many times from them, never a problem. Usually I have the item within a week (I am on the opposite coast).

Is this a two unit suppressor or one? If it’s two, does it this mean two Tax Stamps needed?

I don't own any of these and probably won't considering they add over 2lbs to your weapon, these days that's a considerable amount.

OSS are supposed to be good for DI as they don't have as much back pressure. They push the gas pressure, and sound, forward to make it quieter for the shooter, but maybe not so much for your target down range as a traditional silencer. This design may not be for all models by OSS.
I would NOT buy this can though. This SOB is over 2lbs for a 5.56 can!!!! It would only be good for bench rest shooting.

The SilencerCo SAKER ASR that works for 7.62 is 23.4oz. it seems like this is very close and I paid double the price of this one for my SilencerCo. I agree look for another if you are JUST using it for 5.56,. But this seems like a great price for something that works on all 30 calibers. I might have to get one to see how it compares.
