The HELIX suppressors are integrated flush mount system that regulates backpressure and reduces sound and flash signature in a single unit while offering greater modularity for use on multiple rifles. Built with titanium, stainless steel, aluminum and cobalt, the HELIX IFM suppressor delivers effective strength to weight. The IFM6 also includes a separate mounting device – the STS-Muzzle Brake.
The IFM is perfect for the shooter looking for a single economical and modular suppressor to use on multiple rifles. Built with the same technology used in our ELITE line, the IFM delivers hearing safe sound and flash suppression and hassle-free use without the toxic blowback, high heat, or constant need to adjust and clean your gun found with baffle suppressors.
And with the purchase of additional STS-Muzzle Brakes if you choose, the IFM6 can be quickly switched between your guns. Just thread the IFM onto the STS-Muzzle Brake, hand tighten and you’re ready to shoot. The self-tightening design of the STS and the IFM make them impossible to loosen during fire.

I see a lot of complaints about shipping. I ordered 2 OSS cans from Botach and one from Copper Custom. The Botach cans I ordered in December 2017 and they were at my SOT by the end of January 2018, about 4 weeks. The Copper Custom can I ordered in January 2018 and it took about 6 weeks to get to my SOT. Keep in mind that all orders are drop shipping directly from OSS to your SOT and Botach isn't the only company selling these at deeply discounted prices. I think the real delay is on OSS part as they are shipping cans individually and probably have a limited shipping department meant more for bulk dealer orders rather than thousands of individual orders.

Not sure exactly how some have ordered this and have gotten progress. I ordered this back towards end of February. Still have not recieved anything at my ffl. Emailed and called botach and they responded saying they are waiting for the manufacturer to send tracking for the product. Not sure exactly the time frame I'm looking at here to ever get this.

Yes, I feel your pain. My order was in November 2017 and still have got a tracking # or anything from them. They always said, we are getting it out and YES, it waiting on the mfg (OSS). I'll escalate this to my credit card by next week if I don't hear anything from them by next week or so.

Just posting to add info for those interested.

I ordered this supressor in February, it was shipped to my FFL last week. There was no communication from the seller at any point even though I tried 2-3 times. After it was shipped, I called Botach at (323) 294-5555 and dialed 2 to place an order - that way I got a real person who forwarded me to another real person in customer service. Wish I'd known that earlier. Still, they answered my question and were very professional, even calling me back with more information.

I paid for the tax stamp this week and now wait for that process. Getting to this point was made easier by the fact my FFL has one of the silencershop.com electronic kiosks in their establishment. That means that photo, forms and fingerprints are all done in the shop. There is no charge by silencershop.com for this service other than an extra $5 on the $200 for tax for using a credit card. I don't think they charge the $5 if you mail in a check for payment. It was worth it to me for their service. You do not have to buy from silencershop.com to use their service. If you don't have a regular FFL, I'd recommend looking for one with this type of kiosks (https://www.silencershop.com/storelocator/?store_group=store...).

It's not a complicated process but it is a process and a anachronism in the days when most things come with free two-day shipping.

Unfortunately for me all the dealers in my area charge 100 to 125 dollars to us the silenceshop kiosk.

Kiosk Benefits
In addition to simplifying the ownership aspect of suppressors, these kiosks offer the convenience of a one-and-done registration process. By utilizing this software, you’ll never need to provide fingerprints again because the unit immediately saves all of your information! (This applies to each trustee, as well.) To that end, swiping your driver’s license during subsequent visits will instantly recall your registration data, which will immediately autofill the screen. Plus, since the kiosk procedure is free (though, some dealers might charge a small fee), your wallet will rejoice.

The dealers around me charge 25 to use the kiosk then either 75 to 100 for the transfer. For whatever ever reason the dealers with the kiosk charge more for the transfer than the ones that don't in my area. Plus I can get my fingers prints done for free at my local Sheriff's Office. In my situation using the kiosk cost more unfortunately.

Got the email that the shipping label for the free ballistic glasses has been created. After the suppressor was delivered to my FFL I emailed Botach and called and left a voicemail to have them change the shipping address from my FFL to my home address for the sunglasses. According to the order status they did!

The free sunglasses arrived today. This was my first experience with Botach and I have no complaints.

Incorrect. This in NOT the same as you are thinking; definitely didn't pay $1700. I have a Gen V and this is a different model.

Google complaints for Botach before you buy. Waiting a month today for this suppressor that was supposed to be in stock. 50% restocking fee. 15+ phone calls not answered or returned. The one email that was answered did not reference shipping date

That is normal for NFA items. The ATF must approve the transfer from dealer to dealer. It is taking up to 5 weeks for the approval.

That is incorrect. Form 3 Dealer to Dealer approvals are now running 7 days or less, up from 24 hours. It hasn't been five weeks for almost a year.

When I purchased the suppressor the wait time was 4 to 5 weeks according to my FFL. And that is how long it took.

I've used Botach for a while... their shipping/turn around time used to be with in 24hrs now with the increase in popularity and sales due to the deals their turn around time is about 24 days.... and their office hours are a bit odd too Mon-Thu is like 8am to 3pm and Friday they leave at noon. THAT BEEN SAID! I have no beef with Botach, they do have fairly low prices and customer service is great when you get a hold of them I think they only have less than a hand full of people answering their phones, I spoke to the same lady at sales maybe 10 times in the past 2~3 years... My suppressors are at my FFL and waiting for ATF now :/

Customer service is a joke. They offer good deals sometimes but it's hit or miss if you'll ever get your order. Don't bother trying to contact them.

My FFL received it a few days ago weirdly enough Botach send the tracking email two days after it was already delivered and it didn't come with those free pair of "tactical" sunglasses i was expecting but all in all its an interesting design and i cant wait till i can get it on my rifles.

Not sure about this but I find a number of gun companies ship UPS where the tracking does not show active until after delivery. I always assumed this was done to prevent a crafty person from rerouting a FFL transfer.

Same thing happened to me. If you check the order on Botach website it should have the order status as partially shipped with the suppressor being the only item in the order that has been shipped. Hopefully the sunglasses will ship later.

My dealer received the suppressor today! Ordered on 2-26-18 and arrived at the dealer on 4-3-18. Now to submit the paperwork to the ATF! More waiting :(

The check sent to the ATF was cashed today 4-18-18. According to my dealer only six months to go! Filed as an individual and not a trust.

I ordered a suppressor (not from Botach) 23 DEC 2016 and am still waiting....
This was using Silencer Co's transfer robot, before they went live with that instant data transfer.
I wish you better luck than I have had.

Have this and don't really like it. My sig Sauer and gemtec are 1000% better for noise reduction. But for someone looking for s low budget 600$ can I guess it's good.

I should have said they are loud, heavy and very large. Looks like a dong on the end of a rifle. I've shot about 50 through it and they suck. I don't intend on using it anymore, i may just coat it in latex and give it to my wife.

Little puss like you a .22 is loud. Or even one of your .10 guns. Little faggot.

You don't have any friends, do you? A suppressor is bought to SUPPRESS the sound as much as possible. If this doesn't perform as well as others, then there's nothing wrong with telling people. After all, we are a community who helps each other. We share good deals, we call out bad deals, and in the end, while I want to make a crude joke about KrisTee's wife finally feeling something, it's not terribly appropriate. We can joke with each other, even make jokes at others' expense from time to time, but don't be an ass.

The only reason I am an 'ass' to KrisTee, is because he is one as well. He opens new accounts on SD/GD and pretends to be someone else. Nothing personal against you. BTW-I respect my wife too much to say something like that about her...anywhere. But maybe he has a different type of relationship with her than most 'men' do with their wives. As for your question 'You don't have any friends, do you? '...are you referring to friends on this site? Or in real life? Well, yes and yes. If knowledge of these people is at the heart of your existence, and they acquiesce me providing them to you, I can provide their names in a PM. JLMK.

This suppressor can do both and at a hearing-safe level for both calibers

Most 30 cal do both at a hearing safe level. These are ok, pretty cheaply built surpressors and imo look goofy as hell. My local shop sells a ton of suppressors and I've messed with one that they have had and there are tons of better options. If you walked in their and offered them $200 bucks they would hug you for buying it. Shop around and do your homework.

Bowner, I'm still waiting for the shop address. I don't want to miss this $200 deal you spoke of. Also, I could really use a hug - I cut back my coffee intake and have been feeling a bit down :(

If you want quiet this isn't a very good choice. It registers 16db louder than my 4 other 30 cal cans. Just fyi.

My FFL/SOT and I both ordered one each with different invoices on March 1. Now we will see if they ship together or seperate. Waiting to see how long it takes Botach to ship them out. I have to do the paperwork with ATF. I know it is a slow process and this deal is worth the wait. I ordered the extra adapter ($100) for .223 so I can use this on two different calibers and many different firearms. My FFL/SOT charges $50 and you still need $200 for the Tax Stamp ($750) total for me. One Tax Stamp for multiple guns is a great deal.If you don't have patients this deal is not for you. Just forget you ordered it!!!

My FFL received the suppressor 4-4-18 (35 days for form 3). Paperwork submitted on 4-6-18 to BATFE. I got to take home the extra .223 adapter (non BATFE item). No sunglasses shipped. Wonder which will come first, the tax stamp or the sunglasses. SUNGLASSES TO SHIP AT LATER DATE???

So you ordered 3/1, and Botach sent form 3 to ATF a full month later? ATF approved quickly once received. The issue here is Botach, as it usually is. They either sold something they didn't have, or just sat on your money for a month.

0 votes

Did your FFL/SOT say anything about the form 3 aproval time? Botach can't ship them until the AFT approves the form 3 dealer to dealer transfer. My FFL/SOT said 3 to 6 weeks.

0 votes

Well Botach has my money ($500) and now it's a waiting game (form 3). Good time to save up for the Tax stamp money ($200) that's needed. Then when waiting for the form 4 to process save to pay your FFL/SOT charge. I wasn't really looking for a suppressor do to their cost. A suppressor at this price I could not pass it up along with it's a multi-suppressor type. What really sold me was the FREE LEGENDS DEATHPROOF sunglasses!!!

Yeah the glasses are a nice extra. Might see if I can sell them to cover the cost of the transfer. My transfer is $50 bucks also. For fingerprints you might be able to get them done for free at your local Sheriff's Office. That's what the girl said when I called and asked.

My FFL has all the paperwork to file along with the correct fingerprint cards. I just need to get the passport size pictures.

Ordered one. Expect anywhere from a 3 to 6 week wait just to have it shipped from dealer to dealer. ATF has to aprove the form 3 transfers also. "Hurry up and wait" :(
