A cut above
Ontario Knife Company has a long track record of making high quality knives. You get more than you pay for. How often can you say that these days?
AUS8 steel works very well in knives, and these guys do it right (proper temper). I would bet Ontario D2 steel is also done correctly. More than can be said of others on the market (ask me how I know).

Just got this knife…it’s awesome for the price! Sturdy, no wiggle to the blade, smooth and easy to open and close with one hand. It’s a keeper!

Aus 8 Steel - Pass !!

I've had one in AUS8 for years and it's served me well. I did buy the D2 version eventually, but you'll be hard pressed to find a better knife in a better steel at this price. And I'll carry the AUS8 over the D2 anytime I need the extra corrosion resistance. This is, IMHO, the best mainstream knife from a mainstream manufacturer to recommend to knife newbies who want their first EDC without spending much. After this comes the Ganzo Firebird line if folks really want a lot of knife for the money.

Amazon says $20, what am I missing?

At $20 it is sold by Amazon so you can trust them and the knife will most likely be an authentic Ontario knife. The $14 version was sold by a 3rd party and a verified buyer who bought this a month ago said it was a fake and posted pictures of the fake knife.

Looks like a counterfeit at that price. Guy recently purchased this knife.

I have two of these. One is several years old (1st edition) and the other is in D2 steel. They are a great EDC knife and a great gift also. It is kinda my favorite knife next to my para 2 from spiderco.
