I guess this makes sense if you make a living as a trapper, since you'll need a tiny pistol for coup de grace and then the skinning knife comes into play. For the rest of us (sub)urbanites, we're better off spending the extra $100 this costs over the MSRP of the basic 22lr NAA Mini on their new Ranger II top-break model. [If you live someplace they're legal; unfortunately, here behind the Granola Curtain in the PRK, I've got to wait until NAA catches up with demand for the initial version & starts making a 4" model that is CA DOJ "approved list" exempt... Thank goodness that slang term for a female hound Kamala Harris didn't screw *that* up for us when she was still state AG... :-P ]

funny you mentioned it, I carried a similar set up on my trap line for years except with a 22lr charter arms snubby. until I went suppressed a few years ago...
