You post this same review on every Nitecore that gets put on gun.deals. Dude, sorry you had a bad experience with Nitecore, but I have had several and love them. I carry them daily and they have been dropped countless times. I buy tools to use, not collect and I trust their products. You seem a little too hell bent on running the company into the ground to be realistic.
When a company's authorized dealers refuse to honor Nitecore's warranty, and I'm forced to mail a Nitecore flashlight within its warranty period back to CHINA on my dime, TWICE. Perhaps if the shoe was on the other foot, you'd be annoyed as well.
If these were $25 flashlights, it wouldn't be so painful, but my lights that failed were their flagship model. Like you, I use my tools, I was an aviation engineer. I take care of my tools and I don't buy tools I don't use.
I'll make a deal with you, take one of your higher end Nitecores and measure 1.5 meters from a concrete or tile floor. -That's Nitecores shock guarantee.
Then drop it and record it on your cell phone, If it survives I wont say one word about Nitecore going forward. But what will most likely happen is; it will not survive the fall, and you'll be mailing it back to China just like I did, twice.
I've had three Nitecore lights fail on me, one rolled off a 18" high nightstand onto Berber carpet and broke. THEY WILL NOT SURVIVE THEIR OWN DROP TEST.
I challenge ANY reviewer to let their Nitecore fall 1.5 meters on to a hard surface as Nitecore claims they are shock proof to 1.5 meters.
THEY ARE FULL OF SHIT> I had to mail two high end Nitecores to China on my dime as their authorized merchants REFUSED to honor Nitecore's warranty, apparently due to the high failure rate.
I take care of my flashlight, and never run them long nor abuse them. I also had Nitecore charger fail on my 2nd time using.
