The Vortex 6-24x50 Diamondback Tactical FFP Riflescope is equipped with the first focal plane reticle, a feature ordinarily reserved for 4-figure-priced optics, which allows shooters to use the information-packed EBR-2C reticles for ranging, holdovers or windage corrections on any magnification. Housed inside its durable, one-piece aluminum tube is a 4x optical system delivering excellent edge-to-edge clarity and sharp resolution. Exposed elevation and windage turrets are low profile enough to stay out of the way in packing situations, but offer the quickness, ease and precision of dialing accurate shots at distance. Side adjustable parallax gives shooters peace of mind by removing parallax error from the equation from 10 yards to infinity. Included Accessories: Lens covers, micofiber lens cloth, sunshade.

Features of Vortex 6-24x50 Diamondback Tactical FFP Riflescope:
XD Lens Elements. Extra-low dispersion (XD) glass increases resolution and color fidelity, resulting in crisp, sharp images.
Fully Multi Coated Lenses. Anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces provide increased light transmission for greater clarity and low-light performance.
First Focal Plane. Scale of reticle remains in proportion to the zoomed image. Constant subtensions allow accurate holdover and ranging at all magnifications.
Glass-Etched Reticle. Allows for intricate reticle design. Protected between two layers of glass for optimum durability and reliability.
Tall Exposed Tactical Turrets. The Diamondback Tactical scopes feature tactical windage and elevation turrets with Zero Reset making adjustments back to zero easy and quick.
30mm tube diameter provides maximized internal adjustment and strength.
Waterproof. O-ring seals prevent moisture, dust and debris from penetrating the riflescope for reliable performance in all environments.
Nitrogen gas purging prevents internal fogging over a wide range of temperatures.
Shockproof. Rugged construction withstands recoil and impact.
Aircraft-Grade Aluminum. Constructed from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum for strength and rigidity.
Hard Anodized Finish. Highly durable low-glare matte finish helps camouflage the shooter's position.
Precision-Glide Erector System. Uses premium components in the zoom lens mechanism to ensure smooth magnification changes under the harshest conditions.
Precision-force Spring System. Uses premium components in the erector-spring system to ensure maximum repeatability and ease of adjustment.
Fast Focus Eyepiece. Allows quick and easy reticle focusing.
Magnification Rib. The raised rib on the magnification ring facilitates fast magnification changes in the heat of action.

This price is through which I will never use again. Good luck to those that try.

Would this hold zero for a .450 bush ar?

Yes it would, but it is a lot more scope than is needed for a bullet that has a maximum effective hunting range of around 250 yards. Anything over a good 3-9, or 4-12 would be a waste.

I think your vision is the key factor to consider before you select this scope. If you still have good, shape vision this is a good deal, but if you're 40+, and your vision has started to degrade, you will benefit from an illuminated reticle. I wish I had realized this sooner, it would have saved me both money, and frustration. My advice is, that if over 50 you are much better off buying illuminated scopes.

I havent tried this particular Diamondback but you should have no problem shooting 1000yds with it. I have a PST gen2 5-25, HST 6-24, Diamondback 3-12 and a Crossfire 6-24. Have shot at 1000 yds with all of em. Glass will def be clear enough. As long as it tracks well you should have no problems. Might need a 20 moa rail though.

Don’t bother trying to get the 14% off. It’s backordered for quite some time unfortunately.

Optics Planet is great until you have an issue with an order. When it happens prepare to deal with some of the worst service.

I’ve had nothing but excellent service from them. You can either call or use the chat feature on the site. I’ve bought thousands of dollsrs in gear from them over the last two years

Cheaper at sportoptics with code for Illinois residents. No Illinois taxes like OpticsPlanet.

Any thoughts on this scope? Have the Viper HST LR FFP (4-16 x50)and like it, but definitely paid more than this.
