It's ok. However many folks who have experience with both prefer the m223. Also, the rings, tho low-pro and light have a few reviews stating lapping was required.
Go PA's .308 HUD DMR and either their 30mm mount, burris pepr, swfa salt, aero prec or if at cabelas, pick up a set of Warne rings. Even more low-pro than the nikon offering here, and no lapping.
It's been that price for weeks. Not sure, if this is actually a great deal.
I am on my second one, having had to return the first. Despite lifetime warranty, you need to have the original receipt! I hate that nonsense.
They have very little windage adjustment, and the mounts suck. I mounted one on a Sig 716, but it won't adjust left enough to zero at 100 yards. Two different scopes , same issue. Threw on a cheapie scope and was zeroed in minutes. I googled it and there seems to be alot of people with issues on this scope, mainly due to it's limited adjustments.
Nikon really messed up on this one.
