I ordered this over a week ago and I am still waiting on it. It says out of stock now. Am I to assume it will eventually show up or shall I cancel the order?

Hey,....here's a thought.....Have ya tried calling them ??!

This is bullshit, I ordered this and there were only 1,624 bullets. Those assholes at Cabela's took 1 bullet out of my case.

Damn, that sux. That's one less bullet in your clip.

I hate it when they short me that one round. Guess they thought you wouldn’t notice

Just found out that Cabela's has ended their Military discount for guns AND ammo! They also took away their layaway program... All this has happened after that CRAP Bass pro Shops has bought them out! That was the ONLY reason I still shopped there anymore. Oh well...

I'm in the minority with a Bass Pro and Cabelas close to one another where I am. I cannot recall the last time I saw something cheaper at Bass Pro. I'm speaking in double digits for percentage of price difference on many things. I'm yet to understand how this deal went through citing plentiful competition after the merger; more pain to come I'm sure.

Damn, that's dirty.

No kidding. One buys out the other and prices go up for veterans. So much for competition keeping prices in check. Never shopping at either one again.....for anything.

That’s absurd.

If 5.56 doesn’t cycle well when suppressed, your rifle isn’t set up right for a suppressor.

Im telling you man it will have issues if you run subsonic. Kind of pointless to have a can if you arent running subsonic. Regardless im a dumbass because this is a 22lr post!

They took my order and my money, then cancelled it with out notifying me. Then they proceed to tell me it will take 3 days for a refund. Meanwhile they cancelled a second order without notification on the EOTech I order. So they are now sitting on over 500 bucks of mine. Will never deal with them again.

Well, Cabela's took my order using my promo one-time use discount, etc. and shipped couple of items I ordered with this to push over $100 and then cancelled the ammo! They then tell me I have to travel 60 miles to store to pick up the other items and return them in store. I'm done with Cabela's. Just not worth the hassle.

This flavor bulk ammo usually available once or twice a week@ "Academy Sports rimfire ammo" site...got 2 boxes today $22.99 per 525 rnds...no codes/taxes.

Before taxes, Academy would come to $71.16 vs this as $74.99 for 1625 rounds. Factoring in the metal can cost if you wanted it, it's comparable.

But, if you're also like so many others that have heavily stocked up on the discount Cabela's gift cards, price gets knocked down by another 18% from your taxed price. $64.75 for me tax and shipped: better price even without the metal can factored in.

As usual with the Cabelas chain, this is NOT a deal. I can get the same ammo in smaller packs at any Walmart store for a nickel and even less per round. The Pacific Northwest chain of stores, employee-owned Bimart, has better deals every single day than this. The one sole benefit of shopping Cabelas is research. They sell almost any outdoors related item imaginable which allows one to decide on a product and after that to look elsewhere for a real deal.

Figure $13 for the ammunition can this turns out to be about .053 cents per round delivered. Average price, should be a little cheaper for bulk IMO. I've seen cheaper M-22 delivered. Still if you need .22 it comes in a handy dandy reusable ammunition box. Wonder if BF sales will bring prices down to the pre scare days as some are getting close now. At least .22 is easier to get now, except my wally world still doesn't have any.

Seeing how ammo cans are typically $15-20 at most stores, you're right. Not a bad deal all things considered. For those looking strictly for ammo, then this isn't the deal for them

I would gladly pay the extra couple dollar's and get reliable bulk .22
M-22 is very underpowered and I personally have had many hangups with that ammo along with many documented vids on YouTube showing the same problems
