For the same price to maybe $20 more I'll happily take Mossy's Maverick 88 over this shotgun. It's a no-brainer.
If you did a side by side torture/round count test I guarantee you this would last through 15+ Maverick 88's.
Go do an endurance test and post it. Talk is cheap. Be prepared to have many people take the other side of that bet and be prepared to pay out. Btw, for anyone actually considering this gun. You'll find the barrel is actually 27.5 inches, not 28.
You are so right. Mossberg support, uses 500 parts and accessories, supports American workers, and a reputation for reliability which this gun cannot touch. Oh, and yes,.....can get it for about the same if not the same price.
