Looks like CZ has a 25 rnd magazine that will work with this rifle:

MAG CZ 452/453/455/512 .22LR 25 RD POLY

MAG CZ 452/453/455/512 .22LR 25 RD POLY

Product Number: 12020

The rifle is 22 Mag, not 22 Long Rifle.

This would be good if there is a magazine that holds more than 10 rounds.

I just bought a pistol from Tooele last week, and it was an absolute pleasure to do business with these people. Ordered on Wed. evening, and my FFL contacted me fri. evening. Picked it up Sat. afternoon.

No. I have it in 22lr. I know the difference.

I own the regular rifle version of this in 22 Magnum and it's a Real Rifle. Not a plastic toy. It's extremely accurate and worthy or premium optics.
I'm hoping they follow up with extended mags.

This is roughly the same price as the standard 512 in WMR. The barrel length being that short may lower accuracy, but it should be fine at the length you can run a 22 wmr out to. Adjustable lop, and full rail for mounting scope, make it a great gun for multiple shooters. Nice to have a larger magazine. Suppressor ready threaded barrel. Definitely worth the money.

I have the 512 in 22lr with the traditional wood stock. It is not quite as accurate as my CZ bolt rifles but still very good and much more substantial than the other 22 semis I have handled. I paid $360 and I think that is fair given today's prices. I have not seen this "tactical" version yet, but I am betting it is a cut above the $250 versions out there, as CZs normally are.

22 wmr, not lr.

I'm curious how any manufacturer - or retailer - could possibly think a $500 abortion of a .22 could possibly compete with the S&W, GSG, and Walther .22 offerings. This rifle should cost $250, at most.

Ok, so obviously you have no idea what you are talking about. This is 22 Magnum, not Umarex air gun. There are no 22 magnum semis below this price that are worth buying.

All of those "tacticool" 22lr are made by Umarex, and walther/GSG/S&W just slap their name on it. They are literally made by an airsoft company.

http://www.umarexusa.com/...

If you ever see the field strip videos, you'll see that those firearms were designed for nothing more than a tactical look for all the backyard commandos. The barrel is about as thick as a drinking straw, but they put it into faux outer barrel to give it the look of a proper gauge. Anyone that thinks their Umarex can hang with a CZ or even a ruger is sadly mistaken.

If you want to get a tactical 22lr, get a sig522. They field strip like a normal rifle, and you don't need screwdrivers and crap to clean it when it gets dirty.

Um, no thanks. I'm quite happy with my M&P15-22, which breaks down exactly the way an AR clone should...like an AR!!!

Wow, I really appreciate the heads up about the M&P 15-22. I always assumed that they were put together like all of the Umarex garbage, but I was wrong. I had no idea how closely the M&P 15-22 resembles an AR platform.

Check out this guy's video of breaking the upper down to swap the handguard:

Arghhhh, my wife is gonna kill me if she sees a new rifle in the house.

The S&W is the highlight of "tactical" 22LR (I own one and love it as a cheap trainer for my AR). then you have the Mossberg 715 series.. which is literally a plastic shell around their plinkster series. Decent value but I'd put them a step below the Umarex offerings.

please point me to a 22 Magnum semi-auto rifle that's less than $400?

Um, OK...oh, and you'll be hard pressed to find one that shoots better for less than $700.00

I own the Mitchell. It is a toy. The ergonomics suck. The fit/finish suck. The lack of cheek riser, and the integrated rail that sits too close to the barrel, make ring selection impossible. Not in the same league as a CZ.
