Can you imagine fumbling with that thing in a combat zone? This monster is HUGE. How the hell do you pack this thing, broken down or what. The weight of this contraption loaded would make it awkward to rotate every ten! rounds. A single pmag equivalent now holds 40+ rounds. Flat mags have been with us for a reason. You can carry more and more efficiently and discretely. They're simple to use and maintain. All these complicated drums and doodads and gewgaws are fine for inventors, but when the shtf I'll always take the least messy option.
Not sure you figured that this thing is not designed for combat zones. It is designed to allow people living in restrictive states (that don't allow more than 10 rounds per magazine) to carry much more in 1 package... aka range toy.

I knew they had it for awhile but you couldnt actually go down and get the permit right? I live just across the river in MO and heard that I can use my MO ccw but an IL resident has to wait until they start issuing IL permits or they can use a non resident MO, FL, UT, etc permit..
I grew up in southern IL, so i take it back, just chop off the northern part of the state from about 20 miles south of chicago.
