The neck chain is total CRAP pot metal, it will discolor your white t-shirt permanently & The CRAP chain will also discolor. DON'T let the chain touch your skin if you use it! The knife is good to go - used as a pocket carry it works well, also has a nice Pocket Clip that snugly & properly holds knife - love the double sided blade - VERY DISCREET SAFETY ITEM!
